I am a firm believer in having a screen protector. MacBook pros can get etching from the keyboard upon closing after time. I hate the keyboard rubberized covers in general and prefer not to use them. They block the lit keyboard also.It was incredibly easy to set up and I don’t find any issue with coverage, and the matte appearance doesn’t take away from the screen quality. It’s still high definition. It helps with glare and I have not noticed eye fatigue which is a plus.There is also a spare although I did not need it. Application was not too challenging and I had not dust and minimal air bubbles. Feels pretty durable and lack of finger prints is also a positive!Definitely the best matte blue light blocking screen protector. Even for its matte lack of reflection it is worth it.

Ok so this is solely for the application of the protector. It comes with 2 screen protectors, one 95% alcohol swab, one microfiber cloth, 1 card with a soft fabric coating on one side to press out bubbles without damaging your screen, 2 guide stickers (very strong, actually useful), and one dust absorbed sticker.Cons: the tools ie stickers and swab are really meant for the single application of a screen protector + I wish there were two or three dust absorber stickers only because it’s a large screenNow that the cons are out the way: I found the screen protector design to be very forgiving in terms of lining up and matching the webcam cutout. In the attached image you can see that there are no bubbles at all and it fits my mac perfectly. I am fairly good at applying screen protectors but the helpful card including is actually very helpful. I did end up using the guide stickers which I typically tend to not use since they hardly ever have enough grip but boy were these strong ! Literally followed the card with instructions exactly and with a little bit of patience was able to apply it just fine. It does dim the brightness ever so slightly but it is also advertised as a blue light blocker. The only reason I got it is because I am in science labs and since we do live animal studies sometimes I need to wipe down my computer and I would prefer to wipe down a screen protector over the Retina display. I am not expecting any real protection from it but with my last Mac the keyboard did end up eventually transferring my finger oil residues to the screen and damaging it so this will prevent that. If I have the opportunity to test out how protective the screen protector actually is I will update this review but I hope I do not get that chance.For the price point and ease of application I would recommend buyers to try out the screen protector since it is very easy to apply and you can avoid those pesky bubbles as long as you are patient and follow the informational card.

It's good to protect your eyes as well as your screen. Easy to attach. Works very well. Very durable for me. The price is right, too

EDIT: After writing my original review, the company promptly messaged me offering a full refund. For their amazing customer service, I’ll be happy to move it up a star. I really appreciate small customer service moments like this 👍This screen protector does the job, denying glare very well, as well as protecting the screen. Only thing I’ll say, is the installation instructions were not accurate, which made things confusing on which sticker to peel off, and hard to line up. It was kind of difficult to remove bubbles as well, but once you get it on, it looks great, and protects my MacBooks screen as I needed, as well as removing glare. Good product, needs better fit and installation.

It really sucks that they give 2 screen protectors, but just with 1 auxiliary system to set it up. It's not at all easy to set up without the auxiliary guide system, so it makes no sense to sell it like that. This is why I'm giving it a 1 star score. I already noticed that it only had 1 auxiliary guiding system, so I tried the first time without it... A complete failure, it is way too hard to set up without it.The 2nd time I had a tiny bubble that couldn't get rid of just with the scraping card, so I tried lifting it back up slightly, and I damaged the corner of the screen. I'm sure I would've gotten the 2nd one perfectly if I had 2 guide stickers and kits to set it up in general, giving one full attempt for an error, but alas, that is not the case. Very stupid decision from the seller to sell this in such a manner, but anyway, I'm out 20 bucks for a useless screen protector. If you have 20 bucks to throw out into the trash, then you can buy this, otherwise, please go get a meal or anything else, because this just isn't worth it.

I had no problem putting this on, having said that I'm usually pretty good at applying screen protectors. Make sure you are in a well lit area so you can look at the screen sideways after using the alcohol and microfiber cloth, and don't take them out until you are just about to use them. I peel as I go when applying so I tore back about a third of the backing and placed it starting on the left side of the screen (I'm right handed) and slowly let it stick, if there was a bubble I just lifted slightly and used my hand to press and re-stick it. I didn't have any random stuff on the screen but if that had been the case I would have used the sticky tape to grab it off and just keep going. It isn't tempered glass, so it applies like the old school screen protectors but it is thick and stiff so it makes it easier. It fits my 16 inch MacBook Pro perfectly. It is definitely anti-glare and appears more mat. The colors are still vibrant and nothing looks fuzzy, but it isn't the shiny screen I'm used to with tempered glass protectors. Having said that, it is perfect for our office which gets a lot of sun. I hope the blue blocking works (I guess no way to measure it), and my screen is not a touch screen so I cannot speak to that. I am happy that it came with a spare in case this ever lifts. Due to the cost of this laptop I'm glad to have something protecting the screen in case of an accident. Definitely worth piece of mind and works great for using in a sunny spot.
