Does wonders when the weather is warm.
Economical way to heat your pool. The summers hit the high 90s frequently where I live, and the covers alone, without any assistance from my pool heater, will keep the pool temp in the high 80s and into the low 90s if the weather hits 100+ degrees Fahrenheit. It's a great tool for anyone who enjoys swimming in "bath water" without getting that initial chill when getting into the pool.

Works well, keeps my pool warm.
They only last a few years, but that is normal. I like this one better than blue color. When they do go bad they make a mess so replace it before it disintegrates. I'm in eastern WA and during the summer I take it off it heats so well. I've had my pool 108 degrees before with it on during a 100 degree week with sun.

Quality product as described
It was a 4 b/c we didn’t use it, I felt like it was a five. We purchased it for a beach house pool we were renting for a month. The material was thick and large bubbles, the cold weather that didn’t get above freezing for several days around Christmas 2022 and New Year’s wouldn’t have helped keep it warm enough. We were hoping for lows in the 40’s not 15-19 degrees multiple nights with highs at/below freezing. Pool was heated but the heat was turned off at those low temperatures. We did get to swim some but towards the end when the heater was on. The bamboo garden blocked the low sun. I would buy it again, and It was a good product with easy return but it also never came out of the box.

Not as pretty as the blue color but heats better!
Let me start off by saying I wasn’t expecting much for this cover since we had purchased a blue cover at a yard sale however my wife insisted. I was wrong. When we got the cover it was lighter than expected however much stronger than the previous cover. We read somewhere the clear cover allowed more sun through to heat the water so we decided on clear. The cover was easy to roll out and so easy to cut to our oddly shaped pool size, a pair of good scissors worked fine. Very rugged material that would not tear but easy to cut.Once we got the cover in place the temperature during the day was in the mid 90’s and sunny and dropped to the upper 50’s at night. In two days the pool temp stayed in the upper 80’s and didn’t fall like it normally would to the mid to low 60’s to match close to the night temperatures. We got at least another month out of enjoying the pool. Hope it helps to reduce evaporation also.We had a lot of rain, for Arizona, 5 inches within a week and I was worried the cover might sink however it shed the water over to the edges and back into the pool without a problem. Was not affected by wind either. Two bad thins, the pool service requires us to remove the cover befor they will service the pool so we remove it on the day they come and put it back later. The other thing is one of our dogs tried to walk on it and it held long enough for us to get him. The dog had never went near the pool before so please be careful.Excellent product and would recommend it highly.

My bubble burst!
I purchased this item 2x. The first time the product was fine no problems except it started to fall apart after 3-4 years. However the 2nd time, during the middle of the 2nd year, I noticed that the bubbles where seperating from the cover which left multiple plastic circles in the pool. I thought could get through a third season. Wrong, my pool is covered with these circles which I will try to remove once I find a replacement. Blue wave was going to replace at a prorated price which I was okay with but wanted to charge me $30 for shipping. Made no sense for me to reorder for a product that was falling apart in the middle of its 3rd year for almost the same price as a new one in which I was not originally not charged. Also, they would not reimburse the prorate amount they wanted from me. It was a bad purchase.

Great short term heater / anti-evaporation
Great at first. Raised our pool temp about 10 degrees F average. Used two years on the pool and took great care of it on a solar reel and stashed away for winter dried and covered. At the start of the 3rd pool season the air pockets came apart. You can see in the pics how they just almost rotted off. If youre looking for a short term solution this prob works great. I have reached out to customer service to see if this is normal. Will update when i hear back.

Heats the water and prevents evaporation
Have the clear 14-mil version. A month in, and I've been pretty happy. Installed in April, and within a week, the water temperature had risen 10 degrees, in SoCal (from 70 to 80). We do get lots of sun, and this was the first time we had ever swum in April in our pool. After another 70-degree week in May, we're up to 87. Without the cover, we certainly wouldn't have gained more than 5 degrees in the same span - we'd always loose a lot of heat in the cool nights. We have a kidney shaped pool, and it was fairly easy to stretch across the pool, draw the edge with a sharpie, and cut to size with scissors. I've left a few inches extra on all sides so that it wraps up the edge of the pool tiles, and leaves some flexibility when aligned it back to fit each time. Never have had trouble with wind blowing it away. But if you leave the edges long and curled up, rain water collects on top rather than flowing into the pool.Removal is a little tricky, but it can be rolled long-ways, and then rolled again into a manageable cylinder. It's not heavy to lift. It feels very sturdy, dragging it along our concrete. After some practice, typically 5-7 minutes to remove and reinstall, just 1 person. 2 people certainly make it simpler. A rectangular pool would also be easier. The warmth is nice, and we also haven't had any evaporation - so no pool refilling yet. I almost think it'll be too good: I don't want the water 90 degrees, but I do want to avoid evaporation in the summer.
