I think it could work for a 7 y.o you can adjust it slightly if needed, like maybe trimming it for a smaller head, and placing the trimmed off gems in a different spot. But some are already smaller than others

These face sticker are self-adhesive, glue is generally not required.

Hi, Each style uses double-sided tape on the back, and all the single pieces are connected together for convenient and quick use. If there is a need for DIY, you can cut the single grain and use it according to your preference.

Q: Can I apply on a face full of make up?

Totally! I didn’t even have to use glue. Just stuck them on as is over a face of makeup. I did use liquid concealer and powdered foundation just for some reference.
