Great for quick and dirty troubleshooting
This unit works surprisingly well. The oscilloscope is very basic, lacking the controls of a dedicated oscilloscope. But, since there are many jobs where a dedicated, expensive, and possibly large/heavy oscilloscope would be overkill, this is perfect. The best oscilloscope is the one you happen to be carrying at the moment.Even better, unlike some units which require two different sets of probes when switching between DMM and oscilloscope, this works with a single set of DMM probes. You don't need to change their position on the unit either - just press a button to enter oscilloscope mode. But this is also how you know the oscilloscope is not serious and is for low frequencies. DMM probes are just unshielded wires, unlike dedicated, expensive, shielded oscilloscope probes that are compensated and impedance matched.Think of this as more of a DMM which has a courtesy function to show what an AC signal looks like.The only negative: while it is true you can switch from DMM to oscilloscope by pressing a button and not having to switch probes, the oscilloscope range will not be auto. For example while measuring 120V using the DMM with auto ranging, you might find the range is 1V/div when switching to oscilloscope mode, saturating the graph.This is one of those tools you keep on hand in addition to other tools, as a cheap-insurance, when you troubleshoot in unlikely places, or for the casual homeowner/DIYer.

Nice for the Price
The item was great for the price. It is a full function multimeter and a limited oscilloscope. All functions work well within their limits. Good all-around tool to have.

Deceptive description...there is NO analog bar graph feature.
This meter is 'just' okay...very similar to a couple of other look alike meters sold on Amazon. It does, however have higher resolution and more information on the waveform display such as frequency, average voltage, RMS voltage, peak-to-peak voltage. They shouldn't mention 'oscilloscope' in their description. It should be called a DMM with graphical waveform display. It doesn't have nearly enough accuracy, detail or functions to qualify as an o'scope. Their misinformation about this and having analog bar graph caused me to give it a mediocre score.
