Q: HI, does this stuff remove swirl marks? Would it remove holograms also by any chance?

Most waxes to some degree will hide swirl marks, paste waxes especially. However my husband tells me that to truly get rid of swirl marks you will need to use a machine polisher along with some polish - he uses a Meguiar's polish. If you are not experienced he suggests a dual action polisher along with some Meguiar's polish. Once you apply the polish with the dual action polisher and remove it with a microfibre towel you should see all but the deepest scratches gone. Assuming you have already washed & dried your car properly and removed any environmental contaminants the last step before applying the wax would be to spray a mix of 50% isopropyl alcohol + 50% distilled water and dry with get more microfiber towels. They also sell various preface panel wipes. Once you have done this your car is truly clean, right down to the clearcoat if you have one. At this point you could apply a carnival based wax which will last 2-4 months, a synthetic paint sealant that will last from 6-12 months or you could apply a ceramic coating which a good one will last between 3-9 years. I hope I (and my husband) have helped you or anyone else looking for this information.

well to be honest with you I have been looking after car paint all my working days, and my advice is to do it once and see how it looks ? if responds well ? I my self put two coats on and it really does sparkle , even better if you have metallic, any good luck and don't rush it.

Hi i have tried both and i would choose Meguiars every time for mirror like finish and for length of time between re-applying wax.

However, a Youtube video ending in "7Jvue1sxwLI" comparing the two products seems to find the paste wax more hydrophobic after a week. I think he did find the liquid wax slightly easier to apply however.
