Each Peach Pear Plum board book

A Gentle Masterpiece
The text is simple rhyming couplets that make it easy for a child to remember, and introducing them to some nursery-rhyme and fairy tail names they’ll hear later on (Tom Thumb, )The illustrations are wonderful, taking you into a gentle, sunny, imaginary world of make-believe and minor problem-solving. Every child I’ve given this book to has loved it.

Fun book - good illustrations and rhymes
This is a great book weaving lots of fairy tale and nursery rhyme characters. The illustrations are fun to point things out in, with lots of things for toddlers to observe. Characters and themes appear in multiple pages, giving lots to talk about beyond the text itself (which is also fun to read).

Love This Book
This was a favorite of my now 40 and 37 year old daughters. It’s always my go-to for new babies. It’s fun to read with beautiful illustrations. My granddaughter babbled her way through every page and became the first book she “read” to us. A must have book for any child’s library!

Great book for a baby gift!
This was my children’s favorite book and I often give it as a baby gift. It has rhyming and nursery rhymes in it to answer “I spy” types of questions.

Great book to read to someone not yet old enough to read themselves
The charm of this book is that it allows the child to interact, "spying" the main characters on each page.

A favorite from my childhood
My go-to book for baby showers. Finding the fairy tale characters is fun for kids, and the illustrations are beautiful.

Love
This book in is paperback firm was an all important fixture when my kids were little and when I did daycare. Now they're having kids, so it's time to pass it on.

Calidad excelente
Para mi bebé de 11 meses, que es bastante brusca, es genial. Los dibujos son bonitos y llamativos sin llegar a ser sobreestimulantes y nos encanta haberlo agregado a nuestra librería.

Great read for the little ones
Wonderful little story, a true classic but I do find that the quality of the cardboard has somehow gone down hill and don’t really see it surviving too many reads. I do have an older version and even though it has been thru many hands it is still in one piece

Perfect, even for little LITTLE ones!
The media could not be loaded. We purchased the board book version of Each Peach Pear Plum for my daughter when she was a few months old. We have loved reading it with her ever since. It has also been remarkable to see how much she has continued to enjoy the book, and how she gets different things from it as she progresses through different stages in her development - she is now almost two!The illustrations are beautiful - second-to-none in my opinion. The text per page is also brief, which is great for short attention spans, though it is a slightly longer book than some; when my daughter was very little we would need to read it in stages. This quickly changed. The story centres around lots of different fairy tale, fable and nursery rhyme characters, with again, lovely illustrations of each to boot. It’s a marvellous way to introduce your child to different characters and of course to introduce them to the game of eye spy - a central feature to the book. It’s a brilliantly interactive book, for all ages. In our family we would initially point out the characters, then as my daughter has got older we would ask her to point out the characters. She now finds them, names them and can name some of the things they’re holding/doing. She really enjoys doing this. There also lots of other things within each picture for your little ones to ‘spy’. You could probably ask older children some good inference questions (I.E. what do you think Robin Hood is trying to do?)The one slight downside of the board book is it’s quality; the front page isn’t cushioned, like some other board books, and when my daughter has chewed the book in inevitable teething phases, the paper has become slightly damaged - in fact she did end up with some paper in her mouth. Perhaps something to be on the look out for to try and prevent with the little people in your life. Though I personally don’t feel it’s worth missing out on a classic children’s book for this!

Classic
I have this for my 18month old "reader". We love the details in the pictures, so many little things to point out. We like that the words are simple enough and uncluttered to recognize. Lovely introduction to other little story's rhymes within the story.
