I had a similar case years ago for my iPad Pro and this case is the same vendor (?) or manufacturer.I like these cases over the regular ones because it has soft silicone combined with hard black plastic. iPad mini is quoted thin so I do like the extra bulk to hold. Still very comfortable.Plus, the handgrip on the back is perfect for in the field work, customer service, and other applications. I saw the Apple Store rep using something similar with the handgrip.I was concerned about adding a screen protector and the case not fitting but the case fits like a glove! I believe most screen protectors “should” fit.All the buttons, speakers, charging port are accounted for on this case. There is also a space for non-Apple blue tooth pen. And there is a slide on the back to prop the iPad up for ease of viewing.I got the orange one to make it more visible at work or at home!Overall, the case is a solid choice for your iPad mini.

This is the perfect case, rugged, not too big, protective and has the spot for the pencil. Also love the handle in the back, the stand that I’ve used several times and the carrying straps. I just bought my second one, a replacement for the one I dropped 30+ times over the course of two years and it still kept working but was just getting a little ragged.

Used on my IPAD Mini. It came with two front frames, one with a built in screen protector and one without.Either one fits, however the one with the screen protector would not allow my Apple Pencil to work properly, so i used the front without the screen protector and solved the problem.The unit is heavy duty and made well. It does take some strength to separate the units front from the back as it comes out of the package so don’t be afraid to use some force to peel back the rubber surround.I opted for the black case as I think a colored one would be a distraction when viewing the screen.The only thing I wished it had, is a closed cover for the front when the IPAD is stored away.The hand hold and the shoulder strap and the built in stand are all nice features included.My previous case did have a front cover, but it was cheaply made.This case is much more sturdy.I recommend both the product and the seller.

This is a high quality tablet case. The fit was perfect and all descriptions are as described. Great product for a great value !

I upgraded from an ipad mini 6 to an ipad mini 7, and had a similar case from a different manufacturer so I was looking for something similar to it but because I did have a few issues with the old case, I was more picky and determined to find a new case that covered some of the issues the old case had.Foremost the flimsy stand of the old case broke within the first few weeks. The design of the stand in this case though is solid in its design. It is built with better impact resistant plastic that is thicker, and has the additional protection from the velcro grip. I do not think I will have any issues in the years that I will own this one.The old case I had contained a plastic shell that snapped together with a flexible membrane that covered the shell. Ultimately that shell broke. Additionally it interfered with the front facing camera. The housing of this case however feels more solid, does not interfere with the camera, and gives you two front assemblies with one that has some screen protection to it; however, I opted to use the front half without the screen because I use a tempered glass front piece (that I had leftover from many years ago when I got the ipad mini 6, it was a 2 pack). One additional feature that my old case eventually lacked was proper protection of the charge port, and a challenge to find chords that would insert. This new case does not have that issue either. All my chords fit, the cover easily opens, and it feels like it will last until my next ipad mini upgrade.I had additionally purchased a pencil to use with this case. When I first put it in, I struggled to pull it out until I noticed they had a hole on the back side that allowed you to push it out. At first I thought this was great, and felt confident that I could bring my pencil along with my tablet anywhere; however, that proved to not be the case when I realized that the pencil was not there anymore (I was using the neck strap, and it likely was jolted out of the case when I wasn’t giving it my full attention). I have yet to replace the pencil; however, I would suggest on a revision to add additional means to secure it within the case. I may beef up the next pencil with some tape or add some adhesive backed felt inside to give some extra grip for the next one.Outside of that, it’s the perfect case if you bring your ipad mini with you everywhere like I do.

There is nothing that I do not like about this case, but there is everything that I do like. It fits my iPad mini like a perfect glove and also protects it in a way that makes me feel so comfortable having my iPad in it. It is a real value for the price. You get two types of front covers, one with a clear screen protector and another without. I have two types of carrying straps. What a deal!
