While I could not use these for my intended purpose, they are quite nice. Problems I read in reviews of other lab jacks cannot occur with these, like the pin in the sliding slot slipping out, because this one uses a threaded rod with a nut and a washer that will not allow the rod to slip out. I also like that nuts and bolts hold everything together rather than tack-welds, all the parts that would rub when adjusting the height have a washer or plastic piece for a spacer, and the locking rings around the rods without threads with nuts and bolts. I am impressed for a low-cost item. My update: The more I use this the more I like it. I am using one for my monitor, raising or lowering it every 30 minutes or so, and it has worked to eliminate neck and shoulder strain, and reminding (forcing) me to sit up straighter. It has more range than I need. I am not even returning the ones I am not yet using.

I should’ve paid attention to the size a little more. They’re a little smaller than what I really would’ve wanted but they work perfectly. They do exactly what they should. They’re sturdy. They’re built nice. I have a laser engraver, and this is the perfect way to maximize my space without adding or removing lifts
