Obviously I bought this because I love the design and the challenge of a 3D puzzle. However it was badly laser cut. The nuts and bolts were too thick for the holes, and the instructions weren’t always helpful. Also some pieces that are designed to fit together simply don’t, and awkwardly hover over each other. Also some images are inverted in the instructions.

The end result is just like the photo. My daughter has loved all of the 3-D puzzles have bought her. She loves this one because it is so pretty and detailed. Will continue to buy these puzzles. Perfect gift for middle school age and up. The first one i bought my daughter kept her busy for 6 hours.

I had a lovely afternoon putting together this little puzzle. I didn’t have any difficulty following the instructions, which consisted of a single page printed on both sides with images demonstrating each step. The pieces snapped fairly easily out of the wood sheets, and fit perfectly into each other. The sandpaper included in the kit was helpful for removing any ridges left where the pieces were attached to the wood sheets, so I was able to ensure all of the pieces had nice smooth edges. The final construction is reasonably sturdy - the horn is a bit delicate if you’re moving it around (which is to be expected), but the base is rock-solid. I suppose you could always add a bit of glue to ensure the horn is super secure, but it isn’t really necessary and I doubt I’ll ever bother. There are a few very small pieces made to hold the larger pieces together that I struggled a bit to insert without breaking, but the included pressing tool helped me install most of them without issue. Fortunately the kit included spares for the few tiny pieces I did snap in the process. I’d recommend taking a little extra care with the pieces making up the horn - I did accidentally break one of the pieces along the lower accordion cuts which allow the wood to flex and bend into place. The piece did not break in installation, but because I was being a bit careless while testing how flexible the accordion cuts were. Fortunately a dot of white glue and a few moments to dry fixed it right up, and there’s no hint of a break with it fully constructed and fitted snuggly in place. I’m very pleased with the finished piece, and especially enjoy the little drawer. It’s just such a cute detail! I decided to buy this on a bit of a whim while it was on sale for a couple dollars off, and I am fully satisfied with the value and quality of the product. I would absolutely recommend this kit to anyone who enjoys these kinds of puzzles!

This is my first wooden puzzle kit and it was a pleasure. The instructions are easy to understand and the parts are clearly labeled and well organized to match the build order without wasting material. With extra pieces for parts that are easy to lose or prone to breaking, there is little to stop the novice from completing this build. The pieces were easy to remove and held together securely for the most part. Some pieces were a little less snug, and so I used a little CA glue in those places. The detailed panels look great and all the cuts are very clean. I would gladly buy another puzzle from this company.

I had so much fun putting this together. The directions are very clear and the parts fit together so there is no need for glue. You do have to be gentle because some of the parts have to be worked into their locked position and if you push too hard you will break something. Luckily because it is all wood, if you break something you can easily glue it back together. Some of the more breakable pieces even have an extra piece, just in case an accident happens.

This was my first 3D puzzle and it was so much fun! A little difficult to assemble (partly because some pieces are very fragile) but that's what made it fun, challenging. Very impressed with the final product! I did have a couple pieces crack (no big deal) and one piece that broke. The broken part is down inside the "speaker" so it's not even noticeable. Excited to try another one!
