Low Price Quality Sleeping Bag
I purchased this product in order to complete the military modular sleep system. I believe that this is a very rugged system, which is going to be a little heavier than most other products, but will likely last for many years through abuse. My plan with this product, is to use during winter camp outings, where I will likely be camping next to a fire. Most sleeping bags and bivy sacks I would not trust next to a fire, since there is no fire retardant coating on most items like this. Alternatively, this sleep system is designed for combat use, and as such I trust it more next to a fire. The last thing I want when I'm miles from civilization at night in the winter with temps below 0 F, is to have my sleeping bag and bivy sack catch on fire!As for this product specifically, the sleeping bag looks to be of good quality. Specifically, the zipper is the largest, most rugged looking zipper I have yet seen on a sleeping bag. In addition, there is an anti-snag piece of ballistic nylon used along the zipper to prevent unwanted snags. The bag itself is over-sized because it's meant to encapsulate the intermediate sleeping bag for cold-weather use. I believe the bag is 84 inches long and 30 inches wide at the shoulder. Also, since this sleeping bag is designed to encapsulate the intermediate bag, and fit inside the bivy, it has two sets of snaps, which secure it to the other bags. I have snapped mine together to see how it all works, and I am very pleased with the design. The snaps are quite large and work well to secure the bags together. If you are interested in seeing how the system goes together, Google search for the military modular sleep system and watch the videos (there are quite a few out there). Lastly this product is lighter than I thought it would be. The weight of the bag on my kitchen balance came in at 2 lb 6 oz. I believe I found a few sources online saying it weighed 3 lb 7 oz, so I'm not sure if this is a typo and was listed a pound heavier, or if my bag is somehow different. This looks to be a 45 degree bag, so I think its weight is fine for summer use, I wouldn't use it on its own if I expected temperatures to drop below 50 F though.Overall, a steal for the price. If you're looking for a good summer backpacking sleeping bag, this is probably the cheapest option you'll find. If you're looking to use this for the military modular sleep system, in my opinion, this is worth finishing the system for winter use.

Great Deal
This is not a cold weather bag but perfect for spring, summer and fall weather. It compresses down about the size of a football or maybe a little less if you have the right size compression bag. The zipper glides with ease and its obvious the quality is great. I slept in it with temperatures in the 60’s and was totally comfortable. I would Imagine with a liner you could probably survive in 40-50 degree weather comfortably. This is not an oversized bag, it would be the most comfortable for an average sized person. I am 5’10” 175 lbs and I fit perfectly inside it. For the money this is a great deal and probably the best summer/fall bag for the money anywhere. It weighs just under 2 lbs even in the compression sack.

Well made, lightweight, and cost effective.
I was looking for a lightweight bag for summer/warmer spring and fall backpacking trips and had read good reviews on this bag. I bought a used one to try it out, as I figured I couldn't go wrong at that cost. It arrived in very good condition, nothing missing and looks to not have much wear on it. Mine weighed 2 lbs 4.7 oz when it arrived, after removing some unneeded velcro and zipper tabs it weighs 2 lbs 3.9 oz., very light for a synthetic fill bag. In the future, I may remove the metal snaps as I will not be using it with the rest of the modular system for which it was designed, but I would only get it maybe another ounce lighter by doing that. It's quite roomy for a mummy style bag. I'm 6' 3" /200 lbs and both length and shoulder width are plenty comfortable. It is rated at 30 degrees. I've found that the bag alone is not fully comfortable in the mid 30's, albeit I'm a cold sleeper. With my bivy bag and a liner, however, it seems to be comfortable in that range. Some will probably be able to take it a bit lower than that. With a compression sack, this bag packs really small which is nice being that I use a daypack for overnight trips. Budget minded ultralight backpackers would do well to consider this bag, I'm very happy with it.

One of my favs
It's like the woobie but sturdier and with a hood and zipper. Very large for a sleeping bag. I use it as a blanket, roll it up as a pillow. Outside I wouldn't take it below 50. Maybe 40's with a liner.

Excellent lightweight sleeping system.
This item arrived in the estimated shipping time and arrived without incident. The item was packaged well enough to protect it from damage in transit. The item arrived in perfect condition with no tears, holes, or stains evident on inspection. This bag is very light and compacts very well for easy storing and transport. This bag would be ideal for late spring, summer, and early fall camping. The addition of the Gore-Tex bivy cover would protect the bag and occupant from wind and rain, and would increase the utility of the bag. This bag is constructed of good materials and assembled well, and should last the owner a lifetime if cared for properly. This item is highly recommended for anyone looking for a compact, lightweight, and protective sleeping system for field use.

Great bag for warmer weather
I have used this bag a few times in the out of doors. It is lightweight and durable. When I received it the zipper was messed up a bit at the foot end, but that was an easy fix. It was clean and no obviuous problems other then the aforementioned one. As for bag warmth, it says >30 F on the bag and in the description, but if it is under 60 at night and you have no insulation beneath you, you may be chilly. I have used this and a pad sleeping on the ground with temps >55 F no prob, but hanging in a hammock with a slight breeze made for an uncomfortable night when in the 50s. I tend to be a cold sleeper, so this might work for you heat generators out there. I recommend testing it before just grabbing this bag on a chilly weekend.
