Updating this review. I removed my old review because it was short and sweet. "I said tastes great, quality product" I based my review off of one flavor, "Lemons & Limes". I kept my review short and sweet because the product does exactly what it's meant to do and does it extremely well. But since then I've tried multiple flavors and have read opposing reviews and I decided to expand my thoughts some. I'm keeping the review 5 stars because functionally the product is amazing but I have varying thoughts on flavors. But before I get into that. I'd like to end some of the Bee Ess on here about the product containing sugar. I dont know why people believe that diabetes or health problems are so heavily based on sugar consumption. It has been proven over and over that animal coagulated fat built on the pancreas is the cause of diabetes. Diabetes is the meat and potato disease that the side effect is not being able to process sugar. Ways to combat diabetes are eating smaller portion lean meats. Make 2 out of 3 meals as close to vegetarian as possible. Get plenty of fiber and stay well hydrated. This is the basic component for staying healthy aside from having vigorous exercise regimens. Yes it's that simple. I dont know why society insists on blaming one thing and ignoring everything else. Then wonder why despite their efforts? Nothing changes. SUGAR IS A NECESSARY COMPONENT FOR YOUR BODY TO FUNCTION. USE BUT DO NOT ABUSE LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE IN N LIFE But I digress.. The two best flavors are: Lemons & Limes Matcha & Lemons The lemons and limes is so perfectly balanced. 1 scoop to 12 oz is the best balance of flavor and function. I tend to drink 2 scoops on 22oz. The flavor is amazing. Matcha and lemons is a bold green tea flavor with enough lemon flavor to give it a refreshing edge. Thicker than I expected in texture so not great to drink in really hot days when you want something water like. That's where the lemons and limes have the advantage. The Ehh Its OK flavor is FRUIT PUNCH. It takes about 2 scoops in 16 ounces to really taste it's a fruit punch. And the flavor of sugar is slightly more prevalent. But Fruit punch isnt terrible. I'll sometimes mix it with the lemon lime to enhance the flavor. The two worst flavors are: Passionfruit Orange Passionfruit tastes like liquid cardboard and desperately needs help. Orange flavor is NOT present. It needs some type of orange essence to enhance the flavor. All I taste is the sugar in the product. The orange can be fixed with azz little research. Passionfruit. Umm. I'm not sure? But the product hydrates better than other hydration alternatives I've used. I have GERD yet have no issues with stomach pain or cramps from the product. I feel this is the best thing you can do short of an Intravenous bolus of Dextrose and sodium.

I road cycle down here in SW Florida, the FT Myers area, and ride between 80 and 100 miles a week year round. Hydration is a key to getting home safe. I have been using Skratch Labs hydration mix for years because its as "all natural" as possible with out the chemicals to sweeten it. I have been using the Lemon/lime mix for a few years and recently, by accident, purchased a bag of Matcha green tea lemon. I started to take it back but decided to keep and use. It was instantly very different but very tasty. My perfected mix is to squeeze one fresh lemon and one fresh lime into 20ozs of cold water along with two heaping scoops of Skratch Labs Matcha green tea with lemon, shake well to mix, strain out the pulp as I pour into my Camelbak which is loaded with ice. My wife and I occasional like to juice, so we have a very fine mesh strainer that came with the juicer which works great to filer, or strain out the pulp. Now concerning the Camelbak, I clean after every ride with out fail, I have a excellent alkaline water machine that makes "acid water and water that is Ph6" as well. I rinse with Ph-6 several times and allow to stand for a few hours with acid water, which is a very low Ph. If one does not have access to very pure water then rinsing with distilled water a few time then filling about 1/2 full with warm distilled water with one to two Tablespoons of bleach will disinfect. Just remember to rinse/flush at least three time after bleaching bag, I've used this method numerous time with zero problems. My rides last from 2.5 to 4 hours, its very refreshing for the first two plus hours to have cold refreshing hydration water. One last note, Camelbak is a super company, the fill lid O-ring gasket is a life time warranted part. I have two bags a 70 and a 50 and both lid O-rings stretched beyond use ability. I contacted Camelbak, filled out requested info and they set me new lids with a seriously up graded gasket. I have also filled my water bottles the night before and froze them, the only down side to freezing is you will have to wait for the thaw. What ever your preference, stay hydrated! the human body can go for weeks with no food but your done after a day or so with no water.

This stuff works as designed and advertised. The flavor is not overpowering at all and is actually pretty good. Almost like a slightly watered down lemonade. Very good. I use this on my mountain biking rides. The humidity and heat during the summer are absolutely draining and make me sweat twice as much as normal. That normally leads to a throbbing headache and heat exhaustion. I added this to my hydration kit and 24oz insulated bottle and it has completely changed my riding rhythm and increased endurance on the trail. No more headaches and exhaustion. Great stuff!

My favorite hydration drink! I have always thought highly of Skratch Labs' products but this one really gets me!! I love the flavor, it's like drinking a refreshingly light Arnold Palmer (ice tea/lemonade), the energy with the caffeine from the matcha and the carbs works real well for me. Cool and refreshing on a long, hot bike ride and for cold and wet weather activities I fill my hydration bladder with this mixed up hot, and it's great that way as well. I love this stuff!
