Very effective albeit quite hard work depending on the ground.
Great for installing a few posts in around the place, say when planting trees. Would be hard work if putting in a longish fence, but even that could be done over several sessions.

Ideal post rammer if youre on your own!
This is a really useful tool to have around if putting in 4" posts as its light enough to use if youre on your own but is still weighty enough to knock posts in efficiently. Much easier than struggling with a 6" post knocker.

Great for whacking in fence posts!
This is great for whacking fence post into the ground. I've only marked it down on value as I felt its a bit expensive for a couple of bits of steel pipe. Having said that, it is considerably cheaper than most. It works well and feels like its well made, does what I wanted, arrived quickly. Far better and safer than trying to use a sledge hammer.
