Great tool to have the upper hand on the Mechanics

This is a very nice scan tool. It is obvious a lot of thought went into the design.I especially like that VCI dongle stores in the body of the scan tool. That, coupled with the fact you are loudly warned at the end of the session to remove the dongle, virtually eliminates the chances of inadvertently leaving it in someone's car or misplacing it. Clever.The next design feature that really separates this from a lot of other scan tools is its expandability. The back cover plate is removable and you can purchase accessories that plug into that area such as a thermal printer, work light, and battery tester among others. Very clever.The manufacturer even gave extra thought to the graphics. I especially like the graphics when the device is scanning the vehicle and the slot machine-like graphics when it does a VIN search. Extra points for the extra effort.One area of disappointment is that it is advertised as being bidirectional. My understanding is to unlock that functionality plus coding ability, you have to pay $49.95 per year per make. Even then, some are reporting that paying that does not necessarily mean it will enable it for all models. That is something that definitely needs to be resolved.Another nice feature is the soft side case. The insert was actually made to fit the shape of the scan tool and the USB-C charger and cable, so everything fits very securely. Bonus points for paying attention to details like this.The tool itself boots up quickly, I have never lost the BlueTooth connection, and the VIN search has always correctly identified the vehicle. Scanning is relatively quick and the results are accurate.One year warranty, lifetime free updates.If true bidirectional functionality was included, this is not only a 5 star scan tool, but it is one of the best tools for the money out there. I am deducting one star because there is a separate fee and there is still no assurance that will work for your model. If that gets resolved, I will come back and add the 5th star.

At the beginning was little hard to understand compared to autel

Ford and Lincoln vehicles are not supported. There is no explanation for this. I cannot return the product. I have been dealing with the return of the product for about 6 days. Both Amazon and the manufacturer do not help me in this regard. The product really does not deserve the Star. Customer service and customer satisfaction sucks.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this scanner to maintain my 2 vehicles.After purchasing this item, they want you to buy a a one-year subscription based software. Just another $50 for every manufacturer (Ford, GM, Toyota, Nissan). Without these softwares this is just another OBD2 reader. Additionally, the additional modules mentioned are upgrades. There's no flashlight, no IR scanner, etc. It comes with a thick instruction manual that's about 1/2", but only 10 pages are in English; the rest are the same instructions in 20 different languages. The real turn off is the additional yearly expense on top of what's already invented. I might just try another brand that's more expensive, but offers no additional cost.

Great little device and nice interface. Connection is stable and everything works. However, I have 2005 Mercedes E Class and when I look through live data it shows current data, but not "acceptable range" just says n/a and for anything else you have to buy and pay subscribtion. At this price range I think it should be available for a user, for at least some period of time
