Works good with the Simply45 connectors and others as well. It does seem to miss the brown #8 wire when cutting though. And I don’t think the blade is adjustable…

This is a robust tool that can handle many tasks. It is built to last for sure I do wish it came with some instructions as I wasn't familiar with all the different ways you can use the tool.

I love this product; Rj is locked inside the crimper until the pairs are cut. Great tool.

I purchased this for an Airstream travel trailer project I'm working on. We got a Starlink so that we could have internet in the middle of nowhere. The satellite is pretty amazing, but the problem is that it has a proprietary cable connection to the router. This doesn't allow you to have the router inside and the satellite outside with the doors and windows shut on the camper. I got the items shown in the images so that I can create an ethernet port on the side of the camper. This involves me cutting the wire (scary) and then plugging both ends. Since I haven't done anything like this before, this tool is giving me the confidence I need to get it done correctly and successfully. You should note that this will only work with simply45 plugs, though, which I guess are nicer anyway because they allow the cable to sit in deeper on the plug. This seems to be the cadillac of crimpers. I'll check back in after the project is over, but again, with this all-in-one tool, it should be a snap.
