i took a gamble with these and was so so happy with them and it says 20pcs because u get a double of everything which is really handy i use them for shaping snooker tips and they have worked perfectly and the other set on modeling and again they work well and seem to have survived all the other bits ive thrown at them i would highly recommend and will be buying again

Bought for sanding wooden components on a model ship, double sided in various grades, boards are reasonably stiff if not pressed too hard. Ideal for what I needed.

Brought as a gift for a modeller - no complaints. Said he would happily have these again.

Tried these out as I'm new to 3d Printing and wanted to be able to sand figures etc. I found that the 7000 GSM stick stopped working really quickly. In fact the higher the GSM, the faster they wore out. I would buy something similar again - but these were thin and seemed like they wanted to snap.

Brilliant sticks for filing down rough edges and flash on models which is what I use them for, I should imagine that they'd work just as good on other materials.

These sanding sticks are really good to get into hard to reach places. They also have some give to them so that you can flex them for even more accessibility in hard to reach spots. I'll definitely buy them again if I need to.

These are obviously intended for small jobs, but they definitely work well and are a lot handier than clamping (or gluing) sheet-stock onto a sanding block. These also provide a neat, compact solution for keeping a wide range of very fine abrasive papers on hand, as opposed to having a drawer filled with full-sized sheets. I recommend them highly for things like modeling, hobby-work, small automotive and general household maintenance & repair work. If you're going to paint a car, or refinish furniture, you'll obviously want full-sheet stock. My only knock is that the foam core renders them too spongy for sharpening tools and knives, which requires a solid backing (glass or metal plate) for the abrasive paper.
