Good product, precarious shipping
I have ordered this product several times times and loved the taste and ease of preparation, I was very disappointed this time to find it arrived, crushed and since it’s a food item, there’s no return policy. I did speak with customer service at Amazon, who remedied the situation. This was not the fault of the seller but of the shipping from Amazon. The product is actually delicious.

Very tasty and easy to prepare
The cumin flavor was just right and not overpowering, and they had the same delicious flavor that I associate with Indian restaurants. I’ve ordered these multiple times, and only one package had a tiny bit of cracked edge, so I was able to cook the entire pack of papadams every time. I was surprised at how long they stay fresh in an airtight container, which made them the perfect snack to have on my counter.Just follow the instructions on how to prepare papadams and you will get perfect results. I always quickly fry in coconut oil or grape seed oil and drain on kitchen paper. I’ve never microwaved them, so I don’t know how they taste or what texture they have.

Great taste and so easy to prepare
While I love these papads and their ease of cooking, the packaging is very sub-par. The nature of these is that they're extremely brittle and prone to breakage. At least 25% of the poppadoms arrived smashed into tiny pieces that cannot be cooked or eaten, so only ~75% of the contents are useable. I know it's difficult to package such fragile foodstuffs, but it's nevertheless disappointing.

SMASHED !!
The first time I ordered this, it was perfect and delicious. This time, it is smashed into lots of little pieces. It should have been packed in a box instead of an envelope.

Excellent product
These arrived quickly with hardly any broken pappadums. I put a few on a paper towel lined plate and microwaved for 50-60 seconds. They turned out perfectly and were so good with the chutneys I had made. I was going to try frying in a pan with oil but the microwave method was so easy and perfect I never bothered with the oil.

Just like home, delicious papad and excellent service.
Really just like home! Delicious papadum and excellent service. Arrived promptly and more or less intact; some were broken, but that's always the case. Very fresh and of good bouquet.I break them up to fry them because there should be enough hot oil for the papad to double in size, poof! the minute it hits the oil. However I no longer have a dozen people at the table so my khadai (wok) is smaller, the puddle of oil is smaller ... so smaller pieces to go poof is good. When we made them at home and dried them in the sun there was always a lot of breakage; chasing crows! Papadum are thin, brittle, and the cumin or pepper or chillis make holes in them. It's part of the charm! Be glad your papadum are untouched by crows!p.s. I'm not paid, I don't get anything for free... I just like papadum, Lijjat is like home, and they came here fast.

Restaurant Quality
Until recently, I've only tried the Rani Cumin brand. Love them but they have been out of stock lately so I tried this brand. Delicious! Crunch with just enough spice. Will purchase again.

Excellent flavor
They are just like the restaurant variety’s that are sometimes available in the grocery stores but don’t seem to have as much soda in them. These only expand about 1/3 when cooking which is why I make mention of it. Other than that they are excellent in taste and texture.
