Now I should preface this by saying I am not a small gentleman, being both tall and wide I tend to have issues with bag straps being too short to be used comfortably whilst slung over my shoulders. This strap is long enough I've had to keep it fairly shortened whenever I'm using it, so length wise it is perfect. The materials look great, yes it being a little better described as nylon backed would probably go along way to allaying most of the complaints I've seen in the feed back section, yes it's shown in the pictures but not all that clearly. Personally I feel especially at this price point this is probably the best way of keeping both look and function without it falling apart after a while of using it, but the extra clarity would of course be appreciated.

Clip it on your bag. Put it on your shoulder. It's comfortable enough and seems sturdy. A bit "redder" in colour than on the photo.

The strap buckle from my leather bag broke around a year ago, and to be fair I forgot about it. I went to Amazon looking for a new bag and accidentally stumbled on this. I am absolutely delighted, it’s like having a new bag over again at a fraction of the price. Good quality and great value.

I've been using this strap on a vegtan bag i made for about a year. the strap has held up well, with no threads falling out or the finish on the genuine leather cracking. Please don't expect real leather from this strap though, genuine leather simply means that part of the "leather" has to be made of something that came from leather. In this straps case, epoxy bonded and finished scraps. It looks like crazy horse leather though, and for the price the fact it's lasted a year is admirable.

Outside of Amazon’s return policy, so extremely disappointed because aesthetically it was a perfect match to my bag. The bag only had a laptop and headphones in, and was not put under any stress. Was only really ever used from the car to the office, so not on any lengthy walks. The fittings are not adequate I guess.

Initially delighted with quality of the strap and similarity to the existing bag but now a little over 12 months on far from happy with the failure of one end clip. Only used for 3/4 of the year so not experiencing significant stress! I will try again as other products elsewhere less of a match. Disgruntled at 6.30am when contents spill across the pavement!

Looks the part, whatever they sprayed it with to give it a strong leather smell is putrid and will leave the smell on your shoulder, if you can keep it there... wants to slip straight off constantly...

My wife gave me a great gift years ago. She gave me a very sturdy and handsome leather bag. Long story shorter…recently I had to use the nice leather strap to assist with rescuing a lost dog. As I was walking the dog back to the apartment complex that I thought he was from, he pulled away and ran around a corner and disappeared. He had gone in a door that I was unable to detect with my strap still attached to his color. Saddened that I would not be able to replace the strap associated with the 30 plus year old nicely broke in bag I just let it go until my wife, the one that purchased the bag years ago, handed me the make and manufacturer of the bag. I took a chance that it may be available on Amazon. Yes, and the same manufacturer and quality as the original. Looks a little less worn but a perfect match Thank you Amazon. Beautiful, right length for cross body, real leather backed with a broad nylon strap. Probably unbreakable. Wish it came in black, too
