I couldn't wait to get these! I live in a apartment for seniors. Shower walls are the hard tiles. I tried double sided tape. It held for a few days and then the shower rod fell down. Only took about a minute to put up. I highly recommend!

Working so far,, shower curtain held up enough to stay off bottom of the tub.

It took me a while to get around to installing these, I'm not the tallest & they had to go up really high. Out of the package they look frosty, but when applied to the shower wall the portion that attaches to the wall is clear. The part that bumps out & holds the shower rod is still a bit frosty looking. It does a great job of holding the rod up however. My niece accidentally tore my metal chrome shower rod down & it wouldn't stay up by tension after that. I think that the high fall messed up some of the mechanics inside. I didn't want to switch it out though because it was expensive & matches my bathroom fixtures. I'm happy to say after finally installing these & rehanging my nice rod that these work great. I even hung a load of wet air dry only laundry on the rod the next day & there was no sign that anything was going to slip. Also when your attaching these be very sure that you put them on straight & in the right place the 1st time. Mine was a little crooked so immediately went to pull it off & reposition & was almost impossible to remove & I had literally just then applied it. I took 1 star off for not being crystal clear all the way through like the picture.

Would give 5 stars but shape is square and shows the mount when using a rounded finial. The option for round or square ends would go a long way towards more orders. Before I installed, should have cut to a round form which would hide the square patch. Live and learn😂 That said, this item holds tight and solved the issue of my shower tension shower rod falling numerous times per month. To make these patches stick tight, thoroughly clean mounting surface (recommend rubbing alcohol for tile), allow to dry, apply patch, press out all bubbles with your fingers then allow to “set” for at least 24 hours before mounting shower rod. Overall, very pleased with this inexpensive fix to an annoying problem and recommend this product!
