Key Fob Keyless Entry Remote Flip Shell Case & Pad fits Chevy 2010-2017 Equinox / 2012-2017 Sonic / 2015-2017 Trax/GMC 2010-2017 Terrain

Easy to install board from old fob into this new case. Transferring old key blade to new hinge was tricky, but once installed works just great.The key blank can be cut at a local dealer or some key cutting places, but it's not cheap. If your key is good but fob buttons broken, swap the blade over to the new hinge. Just requires a small pin punch and tweezers.

Worked well. Saved me $300 getting a dealership replacement. I too had to remove the key blades and swap them to put my old key on the new "knuckle" with its button and spring. (Used a thin finishing nail). You have to gently turn the top TWICE to get the spring loaded enough to flip the key out. Disclaimer - I am good with tools and mechanically minded but a patient person should have no issues. 5 stars for a great product - 4 stars because it can be a little tricky - but for the savings - so what!

It does not fit my emery board at and difficult to put on

I needed this for a Chevy cruze replacement key and it worked great. All the parts fit and the key mechanism worked. Great for the price I recommend.

It was very hard to make the factory key work in this five making it work should not be that hard. Why would you make it a different size than the factory? The whole idea is to put your parts into your fob.
