I am in LOVE with this light. We were so hesitant to buy it because it was so much cheaper than anything I had looked at that I liked, but I am so glad we pulled the trigger. For installation, we did have to put extra holes in our drywall because the base of the light is large, but that was pretty easy for my husband to do. I would recommend two people installing the light, so one can help hold the weight of the light while the other screws in the four screws that go to the black base. We have only had it for two days, so I can’t speak to the longevity of the light yet, but we are so happy with the design, and the brightness of the light. I was a little worried that the wood pieces would block the night, but that was not the case. And honestly, we love the shadow that the light puts on the ceiling. It somehow makes it look even classier. The only con I’ve seen so far is that the little rings that hold the wood pieces on can bend out of shape, but the seller must have realized that because the light came with a ton of extras. We even dropped two of the wood pieces from the ceiling and they didn’t break or anything. This was operated error while installing and not something that would normally happen. We wanted to see what the light would look like before putting the holes in our drywall, so we basically installed it twice. I absolutely love it though. It’s inspiring me to find more classy, affordable and durable products for our home.

They make the light easy to install, give you extras if you need any, and very attractive. I was worried it might not be bright enough, but it most definitely is! I love the light pattern that comes out, it’s a nice warm feel, it is a definite improvement! The shortest round of wood danglings were a smidge difficult for me to put on because of how close they were to the fixture and I don’t really have much for fingernails so my previous method for hanging them by just bending with my fingers no longer worked, but my partner was able to do them up just fine with his regular length nails. All in all, it took about an hour to get set up; a big chunk of that time was spent identifying the correct electrical fuse to turn off (the labels are terrible on our fuse box) and cutting down the existing screw we had from the previous fixture so we didn’t have to drill in new holes for the new fixture… so not too bad! I’m debating on staining it to match some of the other furniture, but for now I think I like it as is! Would recommend if you’re looking for an updated fixture with a nice wood touch.

The electrical part of the installation was easy-peasy. It's hanging the individual wood pieces that takes the time. It's not hard, it's just a bit time consuming. But if I can do it, you can do it! Once up, the way the light plays through the wood pieces is a lovely touch. It makes a great addition to the bedroom. It isn't a super bright fixture so if you're looking for bright, you may want to reconsider this one. The best part for me...in a market full over grossly overpriced lighting options- this one really shines with solid quality, a cool vibe, and a very reasonable price point.

I'm in love with this fixture! A lot of people complain about stringing the wooden pieces, but it's easy to do. I just used the skinny head pliers to grip each ring attached to the wooden pieces. If you do that and just press the ring against the tiny ring attached to the fixture, it easily loops in. It took me like 5 minutes.My building maintenance man installed the light itself in about 10 minutes. Edison bulbs are a MUST or else it won't look aesthetically pleasing. I actually found smart edison bulbs for the fixture. Honestly, I love my light.

Got this light fixtures for my sons nursery. I cannot recommend it enough. It looks amazing. It looks like a wind chime ... absolutely gorgeous... the only time consuming part was fixing the hangings ... but they were not difficult just time consuming. Once those were on, getting the light onto the ceiling was fairly straight fwd. I got the 5 hulb option as i wanted a slightly bigger fixture. Highly recommend this!
