Most of the body is low grade plastic
This was easy enough to install. Works well so far EXCEPT IT IS MADE MOSTLY OF CHEAP PLASTIC!!Feels horrible to use. Couldn’t feel cheaper. Really disappointed in the quality of the dial.

Its the ideal replacement for your mechanical lock.
this product is not that easy to install. You need some skills and knowledge of basic tools. Instructions are very well lay out, make sure you read them and follow every step as it says. Once the main body is mounted, everything else - battery, connectors are just a plug in. Once installed, it performance very well and now I can unlock my safe in a second, no longer have to play rotating the wheel. I definitely recommend this product.

Great Product was Easy to Install With a Little Research.
Purchase the S&G Spartan 1007-200 lock to replace my Cannon OEM mechanical lock. I have the same lock on my Rhino Ironworks (Awesome Safe! by the way). The Safe instructions are geared for competent safe folks, if you're a DIY I would suggest doing some research on YouTube ahead of time, several videos give you the visual basics of installation and as well removing mechanical locks. Simple hand tools and a hacksaw are all needed. My setup was a little different for remounting the mechanism that locks the safe if it is ever/tampered drilled. I was able to buy the extra bolts at my Ace Hardware. Overall, with some homework, it was a 20-minute installation. I did have some challenges with understating setting one of the parameters codes. I called the S&G support line and they were happy to assist and immensely helpful and resolve my blunder in a couple of minutes.

Awesome lock and easy installation
Solid lock that is quality built. Comes with all you need to convert lock to digital. Installation took about 25 minutes on a liberty safe.

Great lock, terrible instructions
The lock appears (to my untrained eye) to be really well made. The locking mechanism is robust, with good security features. The keypad isn't fancy, but totally fit for purpose. The instructions are pretty bad though. Some of what's supplied is for a different lock altogether (there's no pull out battery drawer here, stop looking for it). The photos are small, black and white, difficult to make anything out. You'll need to turn the thing around in your hands several times to figure out what goes where. The cable connection procedure is just wrong. If you're reasonably handy, you'll figure out out, but there will be some false starts.I only have two issues with the actual construction. The mounting holes for the relocker are not in the same place as the factory dial lock on a Titan modular safe. I had to drill a new hole in the relocker plate to match. They also don't have The right screws for it, and there's a baffling sticker over one. It's fine, just a minor pain.Second problem is the battery compartment. It comes with a one-way "tamper resistant" screw to mount the keypad to the ring. The instructions say you have to use this screw to be compliant with the standards. But the instructions also say there's a removable battery drawer, which there is not. If you use this screw, you'll never be able to change the battery. I just used a Phillips head of the correct size and moved on with my life. Getting access to the battery compartment does not a allow an intruder to unlock the safe, even if they messed with the wires, so it's probably just a dumb standards requirement.Once you get past those, it works really well. Does what it says on the tin.
