Great for Legends HD Pinball
I needed an inexpensive and easy way to raise my Legends HD Pinball machine to a standard height, and these items did the trick. They are sturdy enough that the machine does not feel unstable, and I can still nudge the system when needed and not have to worry.

Inexpensive, low height - great product!
I apparently wasted a lot of money on the Raise-It products, but I clearly should have purchased these first. They are the perfect height - most of these style bed risers are 5"-6"+ inches tall, which would make our bed absurdly and unnecessarily tall. And while these may not be the prettiest things out there, they are just great! The 3" height was all we needed to squeeze a suitcase and some slightly taller bins under our bed and be able to freely access them as well as raise our bed so we can get in and out more comfortably. They certainly do not have a coating on the bottom, but rather some tiny rubberized "feet" that prevent them from slipping. Our bed is pretty hefty so we generally do not have that problem regardless, but I have not yet noticed our bed shifting around. The Raise-Its were just wayyy too squeaky for me. And I suspect it is in part because I received a set that didn't have the rubber disks on the bottom of each piece, so when we get in or shift around in the bed, I suspect this causes the pieces to rub against each other and the noise is so annoying I have to eventually get rid of them. Sad I wasted $50 bucks on them and could have gotten these for less. Installed them over the weekend and so far they feel quite sturdy! Great product - just wish I had bought them sooner!

Your knees and back need these.
UPDATE Dec2018 ====================These have been amazing. I'm trying to convince some friends to get these for their parents in their 70s with physical issues. I moved my living room around and the furniture was back low for a while until I settled and had a chance to lift the sofa back onto them. I've got an issue mid-back on the right side. It starts pulling when I'm twisting weirdly. It started again, just gradual ache, tightness. Just seemed to not go away. Now that the sofa is back on the risers, the weak spot has healed. I learned 20 years ago that furniture is actually key to your health. A desk chair, the right height, doesn't bite into your legs, has the lumbar support, a moitor raised to eye level--not low, a bed with support and furniture that is high enough not to have to rock/scoot forward on to leverage momentum up from... all contribute a little every day. For 15 years I've had a desk chair (Leap chair) that I can sit in for 15 hours a day and not feel anything, not sore, not stiff, my butt isn't numb. That wasn't always the case. I've had beds where my back hurt more the more I slept in it. We think these subtle things unimportant, we blame other "obvious" things. If you have knee, back or neck pain... these are worth trying. Especially if you are overweight or getting older. Just try them.============================Ok, I hate the way these things look, but the difference it creates is enormous. Much of furniture is said to be influenced by Japanese culture 100 years ago, but that is hog wash. Shorter furniture uses less material and is cheaper, end of story. Americans are taller now than 100 years ago, yet furniture makers continue to cheap out with short sofas that people over 50 have trouble getting up from. Short furniture has spawned an industry of LIFT furniture--motorized chairs that lift you from low furniture. Low seating puts your knees above your butt. Essentially you are sitting in a gym squat. People shuffle forward to get their bodies more above their ankles to reduce the stress of trying to leverage all their weight up from a gym squat. Compare this to getting up from a dining chair... no need for motorized furniture there. The difference is the height.I love my sofa but I hated that it was a few inches too low. With these 3 inch lifts, getting up from the sofa is so easy. My knees have had issues of late and I found the low chair and sofa just put strain on my knees. Every time I got up from the furniture it was a strain--over and over. Those with knee histories know that knees take a long time to heal and are easily re-injured. I realized the furniture was contributing to my slow healing. I raised by lazyboy and sofa and my knees began to improve. You can't move furniture on any of these lifts. If you need to move the furniture you've got to lift it off of them position the furniture then put them on the lift. While I put them under the sofa myself, two people are best. If you can get two to lift while 1-2 place the lifts, even better.Agina, not great looking, but in a choice between health and the look of a minor detail in my living room, my knees win.

3 weeks and ticking
After reading some of the reviews I was a bit nervous about trying these, but so far so good. My son is not a heavy adult young man (maybe 150lbs) but his bed is VERY heavy. We have lifted a bookcase like headboard that is part of the frame and an old box spring and very heavy mattress with these and they are not shifting or caving under the weight so far. We don't care that much about the look because these help him keep his room looking neat and organized and that goes a long way in having a nice looking room in our estimation but they are visible. I have a dust "ruffle" (i use the term lightly because his is definitely not ruffled, LOL) but it doesn't hide the casters and now that they have raised the height of the bed it doesn't even cover all contents under the bed (almost but not quite). I measured very carefully though to be sure that his under bed storage boxes would fit before ordering and in our case we needed to raise the bed just under 3" and it worked for us. Please do measure carefully and you will likely be very happy. You can also, likely find a long dust ruffle to hide things better than in our situation. Good luck!

As described
I purchased these to use on our at games pinball machine so we could lift it up a little. Hubby’s pretty tall and the pinball machine was just to low for him to play it comfortably. These rose it up to a perfect height for him. Nice and sturdy also.

Make sure your bed legs have feet!
So I dont know why I didnt realize these were as giant as they are I figured they would be roughly the diameter of the legs on the frame. I've never used anything like this, so cut me some slack! Anyway, I put them on and these things are flimsy as heck. I didnt realize that you actually need feet on your bed in order to use these. So, I had to order feet in order to use these which basically double in price to make these functional. I had wheels on the legs beforehand which I of course removed to put these on. So a word to the wise, if you are removing wheels from the legs, you will need feet before adding these lifts.
