The book arrived in a plastic wrapper and is definitely new. Shipping was timely. I had a similar handbook for the DSM-IV and used it extensively. I'm retired now, but already have used the 5-TR a number of times. I like the spiral since it lies flat. The contents are well laid out. It's easy to find info. I read various complaints in the reviews, but I find this to be handy for quick referencing.

I received this very used or beat up looking DSM. It has something sticky on the top of the pages, keeping them glued together. I fear pulling them apart and causing further damage. I need a replacement.
