Extreme Max 5001.5059 Wide Motorcycle Scissor Jack with Dolly - 1100 lbs.

Great jack.. easy fit even under a lowered Softail... We'll see about durability over time..

This lift is a huge improvement when it comes to pulling a Type 1 Volkswagen motor out of a Volkswagen Bus. I have used it twice for that, with a 1962 and a 1966 Bus. I made things more stable for the motor to rest on at on the top of the lift by cutting a five-inch hole in a square piece of plywood that is a little wider and just as long as the lift’s top. The oil screen plate of the motor fits inside the hole, and the rest of the motor’s bottom then just rests on the plywood. I will be using this lift to pull the motor out of a 1968 Bus in a few days. This lift is much easier to use for this that than a floor jack is. I wish I could give this lift six stars when it comes to using it to pull a VW Bus motor. I can’t wait to tell my friends. Other reviews state that the buyer paid extra to have this lift received fast, but that after paying extra it didn’t arrive at the time promised. Well, I paid $5.00 extra to get this delivered to me fast, and it arrived exactly at the time promised. So my paying an extra $5.00 to get this lift to me when I needed it worked out for me. My only real beef was that I had to re-drill the holes of all of the wheel attachment points of the tub to move the wheels out further. I had to do that because the way the holes came from the factory the caster wheel itself would rub the base of the tub (the tub is where the lift itself rests). By making the bolt holes bigger I was able to move each caster wheel outboard just enough so the wheels would clear the tub where they come closest to it. I still give this jack five stars because it was an easy fix to just drill the holes a little larger to make that problem of wheel-rub go away. I had no missing parts. Everything was all there.

Like others have noted, when the mangled box arrived I was sure it was dented or badly scratched up. Whoever packages these things does the absolute minimum, needs serious improvement. Product was fine, with scratches and a not-very-good red finish, and worked perfectly out of the box. Love how I can easily lift up anything - I don't even own a motorcycle. Used it for lifting 1,000 lb tool chests, 400 lb wooden bench, etc. Super convenient to have around the shop. Folds up to only a few inches high so rolls right under my tool chest. Minus 1 star for crappy packaging and poor finish quality.

This lift is very poor quality, even by China standards. Like others, my box was torn and parts were missing. The rolling base is poorly designed and does not roll across a smooth floor easily. In addition, the base is about 2 inches wider than the stand so the stand moves around while sitting in the base. 3 separate times I tried to roll the stand + base with a 200 pound motorcycle on it and almost tipped it over. Manufacture states that it can support 1,100 pounds! I can't see how, or why anyone would attempt this. The product seems downright dangerous in my opinion.

Awesome jack! I have a 2017 Harley Road Glide Ultra and a 2008 Harley Road King Classic and it works really well with both. I use it for doing all kinds of casual maintenance and whenever I clean my bikes, especially the White Walls on the Road King. The dolly has limited value. While the bikes are a stable on the jack when it is on the floor, I get very nervous about them tipping over if I use the dolly, so I generally find myself putting the jack down directly on the floor of the garage and not using the dolly at all.

I had the Jack and it failed after 2 years due to poor quality metal. Extreme Max does not respond to emails for support and does not provide phone number. It was able to lift my FLHTC, but really had to fight with it. Only used it a dozen times and the screw for Jacking stripped out. When this happened the Jack popped and dropped the bike. Recommend being very careful when using and possibly have second person on hand in case it pops like mine did.

I have a bike that is 7.5" clearance and this was the answer. Need a large socket, but I leave it and the wrench on the stand. The wheels are nice to move it around with.

Product works well. I only wish it had a handle to easily move the raised bike. You can push it, but takes a little momentum. No strap to hold bike, so proceed with caution and move slow. But it does what I bought it for. Move my bike forward/back or sideways with ease. 800+ lbs bike.

So I did receive my package yesterday after three weeks. Packaging was all ripped and taped poorly. Missing wheels and the hardware to install them. I did send a message to supplier and expected a quicker response. Still waiting. All I asked for was the wheels to be send asap and the original hardware to install them. All I have received so far is an auto response they have received my mail. Would probably give this a five rating if they responded and said my missing parts are on the way. UPDATE: Company contacted me for a little more info and missing wheels are on there way. Put temporary wheels on that I purchased from Lowe’s but they still work for a short time. This unit allows me to put my bike in back of garage and still park my car. Very heavy duty and am happy with my purchase.

Every nut, bolt and lockwashers were there. Holes for wheel mounting aligned perfectly unlike other products I have purchased. The jack was esthetically perfect with no scratches. very sturdy with no loose play or wobble. Paint was complete with no missing spots. The scissor mechanism came somewhat oiled but I added heavy grease to the lifting screw to ensure smooth operation.The rolling dolly was included which is amazing for the price which is already lower than other stand alone scissor jacks. I was absolutely impressed. I would really recommend this one with confidence. Allen

Bought this for my 2020 heritage, found the bike slipped a bit when I was trying to spin it around, my shop floor is wooden though, I modified it a little and now it seems to be working, also hard to get a proper balance with the kick stand on my bike.
