Don't get the undercoating, get Fluid Film instead.
I wish I had found this stuff years ago. It would have saved me a ton of aggravation at rusty parts, machines, tools, cars, trucks, and pretty much anything made of steel that is outdoors. It is not for everyone. Those with an allergy to lanolin probably need to stay well away from this as that is basically the only ingredient. However, it is VERY VERY good at what it does. It coats metal surfaces and repels moisture seemingly forever. It does not evaporate after a month like WD-40, it smells nicer than used motor oil or diesel, it covers well, and is easy to use. Using used motor oil cut with diesel or transmission fluid is also a great rust preventative, but the mess that makes and the pain of handling it can be a problem for some. I would say that it is on the pricey side when compared to petroleum based rust treatments, even Stihl brand bar and chain oil is cheaper than this, but I think this works better to be honest. I would not use this as a bar and chain oil, so maybe it would be best to not use bar and chain oil as a rust treatment--unless you really want that sticky mess that seems to collect dust and crap making the underside of machines that much worse to work on. Fluid film seems to spread out evenly and stay thin. It does not get overly tacky like grease or heavy oil. Sure it can get a bit of dust on it, but thats it. I really like this stuff. So much so that I Subscribed to it so I can slowly accumulate a lot to keep on hand. For big projects like winterizing the fleet, I will get this in a 5-gallon bucket and spray it with an air sprayer. These cans are super handy to have around and to stow in the cab for hitting bare metal when you see it.

good stuff with many good uses
I use this to treat the voids between the body panels on my truck. I also fogged/sprayed this stuff inside the voids of the hood of my truck. The hood is actually hollow. Just insert the straw between the voids where the hood latch mounts to the hood and spray/fog the inside. I sprayed this stuff on the frame of my truck and then wiped away the extra. It worked good to help seal electrical connections/plugs that run along the chassis of my truck. I sprayed each shock absorber, the rubber isolators with this stuff also. Rubber body mounts and bushings benefit from a spray of this stuff too. There are many good uses for this stuff.

Great Product
Thank You Amazon: What a deal for, so handy, it prevents rusting, and keeps non stainless steel metal last a long time, it puts a seal over it, and does not allow moisture to penetrate.

Great product better than WD-40.
This is great stuff. Use it for your locks, your RV jacks, any place you would use WD-40 the difference between this and WD-40 as it is Lanolin based. WD-40 is petroleum based and dirt sticks to petroleum but not lanolin. I found out about it on an RV thread.. it can also be used on your battery, terminals and rusted parts as it is a rust inhibitor.

Overall good product and works great for under coating
I applied this undercoating to my Lexus GX470 and Lexus LX570 and below is my feedback: Pros 1. Applied fluid film and it lasted easily 2 years 2. Easy to spray 3. Three cans were more than enough for me to spray the entire my GX470 Cons 1. Price is little higher than Blaster surface protector(lost half star here ) 2. Lost the fluid film in wheel wells . ( lost half star here )

Great coating for metal
This is really good stuff. It will coat your metal where the salt air cannot get to it. I live on the beach and it is a must down here. The garage doors rust in a year, but not with this stuff.

10 year old Subaru in Pennsylvania, NO RUST AT ALL
Can't find these in lowes or advance auto, I use 1 can a year and my car is SPOTLESS, 0 rust, its like a secret trick in the NE coast to be one of a few cars with no rust, its magical working on my car, I literally have no indication of rust on my Subaru, the bolts aren't seized up or anything even though it can't get on the inside of the bolts, they come out like new and I think my suspension bushings are benefitting because they're still in really good condition still. Sometimes I will use two cans. I change my own oil so I will use some every 3000 miles also, and when I rotate my tires, I use it as well, the consistent spraying every ~3 months is what makes it effective, but i generally never use more than 1 or two cans a year.
