Amalfi Decor Cake Stand, Large Round Metal Pedestal Holder, Gold, 16 Inches

I was looking for a set of complementary stands to do a tiered look, and ended up ordering two of these. The base is detachable, so I'm using one with and one without the base to give the cakes a stacked look, and it really looks great like that. They are gorgeous, well-made, and sturdy. Shipping was also WAY faster than the estimate given and the stands were well-packed in styrofoam for protection.

Gorgeous table stand. Purchased the 16 inch size for my wedding cake. However, the bakers had to use the base without the pedestal to ensure the cake did not fall over (3-tier cake with columns; photo only shows part of the cake). It was still gorgeous. If I had known better, I would have purchased the 18 inch stand since the bottom layer of the cake was 14 inches. This was fine, but the 18 inches would have been more perfect. Suggestion to future buyers: always buy a stand that is 4 inches (diameter) larger than your largest cake layer. :) Good luck!

What a beautiful cake stand, just perfect for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration! I just brought it to the baker and she was also impressed with it. Can't wait to see it with the great cake on top! Great product.

The images do NOT run true to color. I would never call the cake stand I got gold. It's more brassy/coppery, almost bronze but not quite. Like it's stuck halfway between bronze and gold. definitely has an orangish color to it. at this point we are too close to the wedding day to want to start all over hunting for a new cake stand, so we'll use this knowing that realistically, people aren't paying that much attention to your cake stand. but if I had seen it in a store I wouldn't have bought it. as for functionality I haven't put a cake on it yet but it seems very sturdy and heavy, I have no worries about that.

Bought this for my daughter’s wedding and the cake looked amazing on it! The stand came packaged so carefully and thoughtfully...I knew it was a quality item which is what I wanted for such an important celebration. I would absolutely buy this again and I highly recommend it!

There was a large dent in the base of the stand. I needed it for a wedding so no time to return. We will turn the dent to the back.

The stand is beautiful but definitely not sturdy enough to hold a large cake! The only way we made it work was by unscrewing the bottom part. We had to place the top plate directly on the table. We were really disappointed to spend that much money on this stand and couldn’t even use it properly.
