Thin, delicate, elegant double old fashioned glasses
Update 1/6/2016:I chipped one of my original glasses, so I reordered some more. As I took them out of the box I noticed that they felt heavier than the ones I use every day. I weighed the ones I bought in 2013 against these new ones with my Ozeri digital kitchen scale, and my suspicion was confirmed. The new glasses have an average weight of 190 grams, while the glasses from 2013 have an average weight of 164 grams.Upon closer inspection the bottom of the glass is thicker around the rim, and the side walls of the glass are ever so slightly thicker, maybe 1 or 2 mm. I don't have my calipers handy for a measurement, but the difference is noticeable when feeling the old and the new with my fingers. If I didn't have them side by side, and if I didn't use them regularly, I probably wouldn't notice the difference. I am not aware of a comparable glass to this one, and they're still very nice so I'll keep them. However, I wish the manufacturer would not have changed the product. I'd rather have the thinner, more delicate ones.Original review 11/15/2013:Thin-walled glasses are very elegant on the table and they feel great in my hand. They make everything I drink out of them taste better. Crazy, right? It's like wine glasses in that regard; my brain tells me there's no way the wall thickness of a glass makes the liquid more enjoyable. The tactile feedback from my lips and hands tells me otherwise.I saw these in a restaurant and liked them so much I asked the bartender what they were, and immediately bought a set when I got home. These ones are the "short" version of the three Top Class options. Perfect for any drink that calls for an old fashioned glass. Check out the Luigi Bormioli site for better pictures and to easily compare the other two sizes to find which one is right for you.The only downside is that, because they are so thin, they are easy to break. Treat them with care.

Beautiful
I have bought these several times throughout the years because we love them. Very pretty and I get so many compliments on them. What you need to know is they are not thick and can chip easily if put under the ice maker of the refrigerator. If you’re buying for rough and tough family use they are not for you. Beautiful and hold up well if you are careful.

Overall, stylish but slightly taller than expected
These Luigi Bormioli glasses are elegant and well-made, with the clarity and feel you'd expect from Italian crystal, but I expected them to be thinner. They're great for cocktails and water, however, they are noticeably taller than typical water glasses.

Great thin wall glasses
Nice and light feel, superior quality, classy and clean glasses. The thin walls and thin bottom make them feel nice to hold and drink from.

Nice Glasses. Much shorter than the picture. Also somewhat delicate.
These are around 12 oz as stated in the description. But not what I would call a "highball glass" and certainly nothing like most of the product pictures in the listing. More of an "old fashion" glass. See picture. Other than that, these seem like a nice product. If I had expected old fashion glasses, I would have given them a 5-star review based on initial impressions on quality.I clinked another glass against one putting it on the shelf, and it (the Bormioli) cracked.

Very glad that I finally found these glasses
I looked at hundreds of glasses on-line to find a simple, stable, easy-to-wash glass that would hold a 12oz beer with freeboard for head. Very glad that I finally found these glasses, because they fit my requirements perfectly. But, although my requirements were utilitarian, I found that these glasses are, in fact, quite elegant. First, the glass is perfectly clear without the least hint of green. Second, the walls are nice and thin (and very uniform). Third, the rims are mechanically polished, rather than the more pedestrian flame polish. And Fourth, there’s the Bauhaus form-follows-function aspect to these glasses. When I ordered them, I was a bit annoyed that I had to buy six when I wanted only two. But after seeing how nice they are, I’m very glad to have six.One caveat. The glass is said to have 15-1/2 oz capacity. But my box stated the capacity as 44 cl (centiliters). That’s indeed 15-1/2 UK fluid ounces, but only 14.9 US fluid ounces.

Insanely lightweight, thin, elegant, yet DURABLE
These things are amazing. Paper thin to the point they almost feel like plastic in the hand, they seem so fragile but they are NOT!Last night I knocked one out of the top shelf of top kitchen cabinet, it bounced numerous times off the granite countertop, then into the stainless sink, without ANY damage.Unbelievably durable. I need to try their other products.

Really Nice, Barely There, Lightweight Glasses
I'm rarely motivated to write product reviews, but these glasses are remarkable. Unlike similar glasses that can weigh twice as much, these are a mere 5.3 ounces (less than noted in the Amazon description), and although the glass is very thin, they seem to be quite resistant to breakage (none) in the months I've had them. They are dishwasher safe. The overall height is about 5 3/16" and 2 1/2 inches in diameter at the top. "Luigi Bormioli" is lightly etched on the bottom of the elegant-looking glasses. These would be a good choice for someone with arthritis or reduced hand strength, plus they just feel nice in the hand.
