When I do grocery shopping, I divide the meats in portions, seasoned, in this bags. That way, when I'm gonna cook I just take the portion I need. For me it's a lot easier.

I go through these very fast. I do a lot of cooking and I save some food in the fridge and much in the freezer Food keeps well in freezer for a very long time.

i wish hefty would put more pictures than raw meat on the cardboard. i am vegan. i recycled the ugly carnivore boxes and moved them to a large tote bag. not everyone freezes dead animals. i am not a cannibal. it's not inclusive of my religion. makes me not want to buy these but i have been buying them for years to store clothing, shoes and costumes. the ziplock ones have a blue tab that falls off. hefty never does.

I really like the slider that is on the plastic bag. These bags are not available in my area. The price was very good.

I love the zipper. Other brands require you to slide your pinched fingers across the top in order to close.
