Scrabble Retro Series Exclusive

Good ole fashion fun! Love the wooden letters and holder. The board is sturdy and we like to put it on our lazy susan so each player can turn it if needed. The velvet bag is nice for all the pieces. Quality and nice.

Our new scrabble game was what I hoped it to be. Our previous Scrabble game was still in use until we received this new Scrabble game tho missing a few tiles was still showing good quality after 30 years. So relieved to find it was good quality since so many of the games we have tried to replace for our grandchildren that we have played thru the years have not been.

Retro style game board...has huge letters on the tiles, too. Love this game and always have. Price was decent, too . Had the travel version for years and it was very small and the tiles were hard to remove from the board(well made for travel, though!)...got my first 69 pointer with this new one, too...lol!!!

Original board I had growing up. Good quality bag for letters. Letters are almost as good as original: wooden, same size I think, but printed instead of incised or carved. Box is hinged not a separate top and bottom if you're looking for true vintage look and it's a lighter cardboard not like original. Would purchase again. My teenager declared the graphics "very cool." 😎

I've loved this game since I was a kid... My youngest granddaughter loves it as well, so I bought this game for her and I to enjoy for years to come!Because it is a gift, I haven't opened it yet, depending on Amazon to keep to their standard!

We lost our old scrabble game. This is as close as it gets with the wood tiles, wood stands and the same old printed board. Traditionalists - sorry more letters than you have tiles. OH and it has a little bag for the tiles, too.

My complaint is the lack of quality. This pertains to the Retro Scrabble board for $37.50. I had a similar unit growing up. This is a cheapened remake. Tiles are mis-printed, of varying sizes, and the game board is already de-laminating in the fold right out of the box. The bag used to store and mix tiles is much smaller than the original. It is barely large enough to mix tiles in. A this price point, I expected better.

This is the real deal - just like the original Scrabble board and tiles we grew up with. The racks are wood and nicely finished, as are all the wooden tiles. It's worth the extra few dollars to have such nice quality. This definitely giftable quality.
