Q: Hello I am looking for extra strong hangers 18 in. you say this hangers are 14,5 gauge what is a regular steel hangers gauge????

These are very thin, lightweight wire hangers and okay for T-shirts but not much else. If you are looking for extra strong hangers, I’d check out good wooden or various plastic/composite metal hangers. Wooden hangers still are best for heavy hanging duties like leather jackets, coats, etc. Good luck and “hang in there”.
