Worked for what I wanted to do with it. Had to rotate the bulb insert slightly but since most people aren’t using an emblem bulb that shouldn’t matter.

Gift for 16 year old boy- he loves it!
This was a gift for 16 year old boy and he LOVES it. Has it on in his room all the time. I bought a ‘flame’ bulb that fit, so sometimes he uses the bulb that came originally and sometimes the flame bulb. It’s a perfect rustic looking lamp for a teen boy (or anyone). Great product!

Provides low-level mellow amber lighting
This is not a reading light! It's a soft amber for night-lighting. Seems quite solid and has been working for about 2 or 3 months now.

Great lamp with dual switches
I especially like this lamp because it also has an on-off switch on the socket so I don't have to reach down the cord to turn the lamp on and off. Great little lamp at a great price.

Poor quality product
What you see sticking out of the top of this in the pictures is cardboard, and that lines the area where the bulb rests. It looks very cheap, and the unit got very warm after being on for just a few minutes. I liked the idea of the bronze, but will return to using the higher quality/safer black metal bases.
