These work!
I can finally write a good review! I've got a bad problem with double eyelids, I had early onset cataracts (way to young, very severe) and after 4 eye surgeries, my eyelids -left one especially, has no muscle tone? When I open my eye, I can barely tell it's open, and until I get it surgically corrected, I need something to keep my eyelids from drooping? I've tried the anti puff remedies, and have to rely on plexaderm, but it's not easy to use, so I've been trying the eyelid tape which is self-adhesive, and kind of a nightmare? These are bigger, more of a breathable, invisible mesh, and just spraying it with water, they're easy to place. I can feel them, but I can't see them in the mirror, and they stay put with makeup on. It's not ideal, but if it is the only way to open my eyes, I'll take it.

Poorly designed trash
1. Removed the strips from the sealed package is a chore in itself. This product comes with a few "seal removers" where are basically stickers. The idea is you use the stickers to pull the seal off and access the strips. Stickers don't work as intended. 2. Removing the strips from the package takes off a considerable amount of adhesion. Trying to apply these is very annoying, because every strip has about 50% of its total adhesion by the time you remove it. I attritubte this flaw to the nature of the pliers. 3. Because of point #2 these strips have basically no adhesion by the time you put them on your eye lid. I was so frustrated about how much time I wasted on these pieces of junk, thinking that it was my technique, when in reality it was the fact that removing them takes off so much adhesion. I have already used up about 50-60 strips in an attempt to get these to work. So far i've only applied 2 since i've had these in my possession. awful awful product.

I don't know exactly how to put these on correctly yet
I managed to get one of them in the right place on my left eye, but my left eye is shaped different than my right, so when i put the right one in the same spot as i did on the left, it made me look all wonky. I couldn't figure out where the right place was on my right eye. You can definitely feel them when they are on, though. And occasionally your eye gets stuck open. Which makes you kind of look like you had a stroke. Maybe I'm using them incorrectly, i don't know. I bought this particular brand after watching a tutorial on YouTube where she used these ones - but in her tutorial, she only used one little strip, and it seems like you're supposed to use two for each eye. But I'm not sure which is right. Maybe the thinner strips would work better for me, i don't know. I guess i could trim one down and see if they work better that way, and maybe they won't feel as noticeable, or hold my eye open. I noticed the adhesive on them dissolves very quickly with water, so just one quick spritz is all you need. If you squirt it twice, the glue basically disappears and then it's unusable. If i cut a few of them down and get better results, I'll update my review and let you know.

Good! But not great -- yet!
Ok. I just got these and played with them for about an hour. I am very experienced at using lid tapes as I've been using a different brand for YEARS - at least 5 years. The brand I use is a DOUBLE-sided adhesive kind, and those work extremely well as they literally disappear into your eyelid and cannot be seen. However, they don't give me quite the lift I would like, and they are quite rough on your sensitive eyelid skin. Esp if you wear them multiple days in a row. Taking old ones off and putting on new next day can really start to irritate your skin. So I wanted to try a mesh-type tape. I read reviews for tons of the mesh type. I was bummed that they all seem to be one-sided adhesive tapes. Why!? Oh, why? The double-sided work SO much better and actually disappear as they pull your excess skin into the crease. But the reviews on this one seemed good, so I gave it a shot. After 1 hour of experimentation, I've noticed a few things. First, these are SO much easier on my eyelid skin! OMG. SOOO much less irritating to remove. Those double-sided tapes can get stiff and the odd crease they can sometimes leave can become noticeable if you wear them for hours or don't place them perfectly. So the fact that these are so flexible and so much softer on your skin is a BIG plus. And, these tapes are far, far LESS visible than I expected them to be. I honestly thought these were going to be quite visible, and that would be a deal breaker for me. The single-sided adhesive ones are usually visible and made me very skeptical. But these really do all but disappear! I mean, if someone looks really, really closely and is specifically looking for the tape - they'd probably be able to make it out. But they'd almost need a magnifying glass. I don't know how they blend so well, but they do! Second big PLUS. However -- they do not give me as good of an eyelid as the double-sided adhesive ones I use. THAT IS A BUMMER. They do make a little difference, but not enough to make me very happy. Hm. I played with placement for a full hour. And I'm already good at this! But the best I could do was use two tapes piled on top of each other to get a noticeable difference. Sigh. I am still hopeful. I will play with them more and write an update when I figure out if there is a better placement that I somehow failed to think of. But for now, they are very comfy and I will wear them on days I don't care as much. But when I go out and care about what I look like, I will use the old ones unless and until I can figure out how to get these to give me more of a lift. P.S.!!! Ok, so yesterday, I tried again. SO much better!!! That is the picture you see - my 2nd try. First tip, do not use the tweezers to try to lift the end of the tape off the backing it comes on. Instead, bend the backing sheet back n forth a bit, and the end will pop right up!!! This was a game-changer, as it saved the "ever so important" ends from damage. (Damaging the ends can make them visible after some hours.) Then, I place mine right in the middle of my eye (a little higher up and into the crease than my first attempt) and then work my way out to the sides, smoothing out excess water over the tape as I press it gently into place with the wand. But you have to be patient and WAIT until the water is all dry before opening your eye up. I noticed that if you open your eye right away, the tape is still wet and more bendy and you get a weird or no double lid. I kept my eye closed and sat in front of a small fan to let it completely dry (harden a bit) before I opened my eye and used the "fork" instrument to gently push my eyelid back. OMG!!! That is a game-changer. Now, I really love them. Now that I've figured out how to place them and wait for them to dry, they give me an even bigger lid than the old ones I spoke of earlier in the review! And I cannot get over how invisible they are!!! They're so much easier on my skin. Another pro tip: if the ends dry out and become visible throughout the day, it's easy to use the wand or something similar to just put a tiny drop of water under the lifted part. Gently press down and wait for the water to dry. Poof! It sticks and is invisible again. Bottom line: it takes practice! If you are impatient, you'll probably write a review and say that these are trash. If you are motivated to get that eye lift w/o surgery -- you must be patient and play with these. You will figure out how to properly place them, and they will make a big difference in how you look! These are my new favorites, for sure!!! I'm SOLD! I will be stocking up on these babies. I'll include a pic (of my eyes after my 2nd attempt) so you can see the difference in my eyes. Not a good pic, took it in a hurry. After makeup, looks even better!!!
