I bought this plastic “Good Game” trophy for my very special, friend (if you know what I mean), who played college baseball back in the day. What I didn’t expect was to uncover a glaring gap in his athletic experience: apparently, despite YEARS of sports (and “sports”), no one had ever slapped his a$$ afterward and said “Good game.” Reader, I corrected that. The trophy itself is gloriously ridiculous—lightweight, shiny in that very specific “won this at a 3rd-grade field day” way, and sturdy enough to survive being dramatically presented like it’s the World Series MVP award. The engraving is clear, legible, and deeply committed to the bit. He laughed. I laughed. The trophy now lives on his shelf like a tiny, gold reminder that teamwork, effort, and good sportsmanship can happen off the field too. 10/10.
