Awesome stove! Replaced my steel (non-folding)
I wish I bought this first! It replaced my welded non folding steel version. This fits flat in my pack (had to carry my other stove) and it half the weight! Over 7lbs less! I’d love a titanium 3-4lb folding stove but they are nearly and exceed $500 this is half that cost and for the 5 days a year I use it in February it will do just fine! A real game changer for my winter camping trips to not have so much extra bulk and weight! The only downside is the chimney isn’t as solid as my welded stainless sections and is a process to set up (practice before going into the woods)but that’s a small price to pay for the size and weight difference

Seems good
I tried this as an alternative to the more expensive Ti stoves. Seems to work well. My only question is how long will it last if used frequently. Does not come with a stove jack so you will need to purchase one with it. NOTE- Watch videos and read how to install the stove pipe prior to attempting.

Great foldable tent stove
Bought this stove after a bit of research and am really pleased with it. It came with everything you need (except the stove jack for the tent). Easy to set up and put away and seems very durable. I’ve used it to 2 multi-night winter camps and it kept me warm and cosy.

Nice for the price
Bought this stove to be paired with a hot tent for the upcoming hunting season. First time setting up and took about 15 minutes by myself keeping in mind that the stainless stovepipe is a little tricky to roll the first time. If using in a tent I wouldn't be too worried about the stovepipe coming loose however if using freestanding like in the video I'd use the 3 lines to secure. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and quality. The stainless steel version weighs just a little more than the titanium but is less expensive so should provide many years of use without hurting my wallet. (Note* Definitely use the provided gloves to set up the stove and roll up the stovepipe and for disassembly. The edges are wicked sharp)

Small and compact, used a different pipe

It will warp
Bought the stove for hot tent camping and late season hunting just got back from the trip the temp was low to mid 30's at night the stove kept us warm and it worked for the price it was but the latches to hold the thing together kept coming loose and the flue on mine is not correct all in all it would recommend it but I would tell the persons about the problems I had with mine

Very impressed
Have not had to use it yet, but so far I am impressed. Collapses easy. Folds out easy. Dumps heat. We'll see how it patinas with the heat (don't care). I know the stove pipe will be a pain to roll. Included gloves are small but I could not be more impressed with my first hot tent stove. Folds into the size of a book, not terribly heavy. Only initial burn in now, but I love it

Kind of cheap for the price
So initially this stove was cool, but now that I’ve used it 3 times it’s just getting worse and worse. The stove pipe was the first issue. Very sharp, kind of hard to do one person but not impossible. The stove has some razor sharp edges. This stove burns good and hot, but with that after the third burn it is now flexing out of shape, and barly wants to stand even on the legs, which is a huge issue for pipe-to-tent and for cooking. The top plate slides also like to undo themselves, and fill them tent with smoke sadly. Would not suggest for camping outside of your backyard. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra 50-100$ on a better one

Easy to burn in. Tons of videos on set up so please watch. After first burn in, the flue is easy to assemble outdoors. So burn in at home first!! I got it adjusted so that it would burn a log every 2 hours. Did a great job at cooking meals and keeping the tent warm. (22+c) The legs are amazing at keeping it sturdy as the snow melts down. Others tend to sink into the ground, but not this one. Only gripe, they could have made it easier to clear the ash, as it does build up after extended use. I took the coals out and then would have to unhook the flue and just dump the ashes every 12 hours and then restart the fire. Not a huge deal because this packs up nicer than any other stove I have ever come across. Did I mention it’s light and small enough to fit in my bag? Ps. I bought a small metal grate to put in the bottom, that way the bottom doesn’t bow out to extreme heat and weight of logs. And yes, make sure to guy out your flue, it’s not in this picture because I ended up moving the tent shortly after it was taken.

Update October 2023: I have changed my review from 3 to 5 stars. I had some issues with my stove and decided to reach out to the company. I wont bore you with the details and say the issues were not a manufacturing defect. Danchel Outdoor went above and beyond to come up with a solution! They didn't have to as it was far beyond the 30-day return window. And yet they were willing to work with me. Five-star indeed. Cheers! Original Review Below This: This little stove is impressive! Recently took it on a shake-down trip and I have very few complaints. And I'm not even sure my complaints have anything to do with the stove; it may just be me! The glass walls and door window provide great ambiance. Don't fear the chimney rolling process; take a deep breath and start again if needed. You got this! My complaints are: Tough to regulate the fire intensity. Its zero or hero. The damper is mounted backwards. Usually, when the handle is vertical, its open. "open up" but here, it's the opposite. The top and bottom could use reenforcing as they warp a bit. A grill insert/burn plate would be marvelous! I would love a baffle before the chimney. The spark arrester is small and easily clogged. I've since purchased a bigger/longer one. The carry case included with this doesn't make sense as the chimney bag is sewed onto the side (flat part) of the bag. I'd love a separate bag or a taller bag so that the whole thing is flat. Hope that makes sense. I wouldn't want to jam this into a backpack as it would risk crushing the stovepipe and spark arrester. And sure, I can complain about the price...but why? It is what it is.

The stove works great. But be patient setting up the stove pipe for the first time.

Review after my first couple of days using this stove in my hot tent. I'm really glad I chose the model with a side glass, it puts out good heat and looks great. My tent is a 4 person pyramid style and this stove kept me cozy once I had learned to properly manage the damper and vents. It took me two burns to master. Stove folds into a nice small package. I have not tried cooking on it yet, seems like it can take a small pot or kettle without a problem. I had never used a roll up chimney pipe but it is easy if you check the Danchel how-to videos. I had no problems at all. Good height for my tent. Not a freestanding pipe, needs to be guyed out and then it's solid. After the first couple of burns the chimney rolls into shape much more easily. My only wish is that you could switch the window from one side of the stove to another, but that is a very minor gripe. Overall I'm quite happy with this stove.
