It heats up after 15 mins of use
The product works ok, but hears up considerably in just 15 mins of use. Secondly the product was shipped without dc adapter and on repeated msg and email also there was nobreply from either the company or the distributor. I had to buy an adapter from the market to use it which I am afraid would ruin it if used for a longer period of time. It seems the company after selling the product is least bothered if the product works or not and to pay any heed to the customers need.

Dolby Digital not working on PC
Although surround sound(LPCM mode) in 5.1 speaker is working but it is unable to play dolby digital content. So returning.

Works perfect, easy setup, good value
I'm using this unit to split audio out of HDMI connection from fire tv device to input audio into older A/V receiver using SPDIF connection. Worked perfect from the start, simple to install, 4K compatible and reasonably priced. Great product!

Works as intended
I am currently using this to get audio from a Google Chromecast via the optical out which is fed to a standalone DAC. I haven’t tried the analog out.Only reason to not give this a five star rating is because the AC adapter I received has a broken part inside it I think, works fine but rattles when you shake it.

LEDs light up but does nothing else
The LEDs work showing input and output but it didn’t do anything. I tried just the sound output via an optical cable and the video via the HDMI to a projector but nothing in either case.
