Great Studio Rack
This studio rack is the best I've seen in my 30 years of A/V work. Easy to assemble. Precision made components that fit perfect with each other. Sturdy with high quality hard rubber casters. Came with a large supply of rack screws as well. Smooth laminate finish in rich natural wood color. It will enhance any indoor studio decor.

Exactly what I needed
I had been looking a while for a rack this tall (20U) that wouldn’t break the bank, and this one checked every box for me. All the rack spaces line up perfectly so installing equipment was super easy.It did arrive with a blemish on one of the panels, but customer service was quick to take care of it. I will definitely order from them again in the future.

Looks great, quality lacking
Like others have said, looks great but quality is lacking. Some grooves that are supposed to fit together in the assembly weren't aligned properly so it was a bit difficult to set up and would highly recommend not to bring on tour. Otherwise looks great, which is why I purchased.

Looks high end; costs a fraction of the price of comparable "name" units
This is some of the best money I've recently spent on gear. After downsizing into an apartment, I needed a rack that could house my vocal chain (and some as-yet to arrive outboard stuff), and look presentable alongside my existing office/studio furniture. Maybe "studio" is too grandiose a term; these days, I'm doing VO, recording and vocal work in a nook that is visible from the main living space. So, for once, I wanted (needed, according to my lovely lady) my recording area to be functional, but pleasing to the eye. This unit does the trick, for not a lot of money.Yes, it comes flat-shipped, and you have to do a bit of assembly. But the parts, the hardware, and the finish of the sides, bottom, and top make for a beautiful end result that, on high-quality casters, rolls and parks like a rack costing three times as much. The holes all line up, the slots and tabs are perfect, and all in, it took me less than a half hour to put the rolling cabinet together. I used a wee bit of glue before I set the larger pieces into place. That wasn't a requirement, but that's how I roll when it comes to DIY furniture.I'll be looking to get more from this company, when and if my needs grow. Very highly recommended.

Stinks like fish, bad anchors in front panel, otherwise good
The rack was very well packaged and padded, but otherwise I had some complaints, a couple of them serious.1. The packing list and instructions do not list the rack screws provided, or the spare anchors. That one will become important later.2. All the wood smells like fish or urine. Just leaving it in the car for a couple hours stunk up the whole vehicle. All the packaging smelled like it as well.3. The 10/32 rack screws, are so tight when going in, that you have to put them in with a drill. I tried them in one of my other racks, and it’s the same thing. I tried a rack screw from a more reputable manufacturer, and it went into this rack fine. So it’s definitely the screws and not the rails.4. They put the wrong anchors for screws in the front panel. I assembled it without screwing the front panel on, just using the wood slots to hold it in place. But I found that the rack was a little rickety that way. It was only then that I discovered they had sent me Some spare anchors, which the screws actually fit in.If they had only listed those spare anchors on the instructions and contents of box list, I would have known that I had them but they got put aside while I was unpacking and I completely forgot about them, causing me to essentially build the rack twice.I took the rack apart partially, used needle nose pliers to remove the bad anchors from the front panel, and screwed two of the spare anchors they gave me in. It was surprisingly easy to do but given that the holes are a little oversized now, I hope the thing holds together well enough.Other than the problem with the bad anchors on the front panel, the thing was pretty easy to assemble. I definitely recommend installing a couple pieces of rack equipment, or at least a 3U spacer and maybe a 1U patch panel or some such, to make sure that the rails properly align before you tighten most of the internal screws.I’m happy with the final result, though I wouldn’t have been if they hadn’t included those spare anchors and I had to send away for a replacement front panel like I thought I was going to happen.I don’t like the smell—I don’t know if they dipped it in fish oil or if one of the workers just decided he needed to go really bad before he shipped it, or what, but hopefully that will dissipate over time.I’m attaching a picture of the back of the front panel, showing the anchors that did not fit the provided construction screws, aligned above one of the other panels, that did have proper anchors. Please mark this review helpful if it aids in your purchasing decision, thanks!

SMELLY
Beware! These stink!! I am talking literally, they smell awful. Cheap glue or cheap finish? No idea, but they completely stink.

Superb Quality!
I have assembled and used dozens of studio racks, and this one is far above everything out there with regard to precision, structural integrity, and fit and finish. It is simply beautiful and sets the new standard in recording studio equipment furniture.

good inexpensive rack
I was on the fence whether or nor to purchase these and glad I did. Its a decent inexpensive rack.Important: make sure to take your time and use the proper screws when building, there are different sets of screws included (some for the panels, some for securing hardware) and if you use the wrong one you will damage the panels.
