Flexible and kind of soft, just right for my cracked purse straps!
The straps on my favorite handbag were cracking, and this tape fixed it! Don't know how long it'll last, but it looks great now. I bought several brands of leather repair tape, and they all had different sheens, texture/grain, and thickness. Some were too matte, too shiny, too thick (better for leather upholstery repair), not flexible enough, or texture that didn't match. This came the closest to what I wanted. Since I had to wrap around a small area, I liked that it wasn't too thick, plus being thinner it barely shows the white edges of the tape. And it's flexible and somewhat soft, so hopefully it won't crack. Easy to work with too, and took very little time to apply. I've attached pics of before and after. It's not going to be perfect because, well, it's tape. But you can't tell from more than a few feet away. I'm happy!

Update. I received a new roll and it worked better than the original. So the first one probably wasn't a good roll.I purchased this to patch up scratch marks made by my cat. And the tape just does not want to stay put. It won’t stop coming off. So maybe it’s just my couch was different material or something. But it did not work for me

This was so easy to use and it covered up all the imperfections.

Didn't like the finishes
It might be good for smooth surfaces or on sturdy areas, but for an old chair, it was just a waste of money.

Woks well
I like it. It’s a good way to patch up any rips in leather. Anyone that owns a Dodge Caliber SRT4 knows how notorious the driver side seat tears. This was a great tool to patch that up. Highly recommend using a hair dryer though as you apply to ensure it sticks on well.

Not 100% sure if this is the small roll or the large roll I bought but in any case, I like it.With time I'm sure it needs repair again but so far I am happy with the results.If I ever am going to buy a desk chair again it will be fabric, not pleather. (Fake leather)Pleather is an awful product.I have several pleather chests/toy boxes that got some tears and rips so I'll slap some of this repair product on there too.
