We liked it a lot. We used it few times for camping and it was very comfortable to us. This is a pad, not an inflatable mattress, so you should not expect something super thick which will completely isolate the ground. But if you hate those inflatable mattresses like I do, and like firm mattress in your home, this is a great product.As some people wrote, we left it open for a night in our house before we used it outdoor for the first time. And we also inflate it by ourself a bit to completely inflate it. It will not fully inflate by itself, but I never saw a pad that can really be fully inflated automatically.

Comfortable, but extra weight & bulk, if backpacking. Perfect for home or car-camping. I like that pillow inflates separately, & optional to use or not. Takes longer to inflate w/ 1'st time use, then doesn't take long next time. Came packed very tight in bag, but after leaving inflated for an hour & deflating, it easily rolled it up smaller, and fit loose in bag. Easy to use. Material feels good, & seems to be good quality. Fits well in back of my Honda minivan. I only returned, preferring single-width pads that can optionally be snapped together for two persons.

Great product! Don’t believe the complaints, it’s user error.1) Pillows have a 1-way valve that allow you to inflate without air escaping. You pull it out to deflate.2) you can add (blow in) more air. Just like a thermarest, but you have to unscrew then pull a bit with your mouth, then screw it closed while holding pressure with your mouth. Extra firm no problem.3) It easily fits on the sack. Fold in half lengthwise (it has snaps if you want a double thick single) then open valves and roll tightly using your knee to help hold the roll in between repositioning your hands. Then close the valve before getting the bands. Again use your knee to hold it. Once the valve is closed the matt won’t as easily unroll. Slides easily into the stuff sac.Pros: works great, can easily support me as a side sleeper without my hip touching the ground. Insulated a bit with the foam, way better than an air mattress in that regard. Not as bouncy as an all air mattress, so it’s less likely to disturb my wife.Cons: I’m 5’ 10” and I need to be up on the pillows to keep my whole foot on the pad. On my back my hells fit no problem. So, over 6’ is probably not ideal.

It's fine for car camping I guess It's relatively comfortably but there are more comfortable options out there with the same form factor. It gets the job done but barely. Not only does the self inflating not really work, but then manual inflating barely works before it starts leaking air as soon as you take your mouth or pump away. In addition, when you try to pack this thing up, it barely decompresses so it takes up a ton of storage room. If you don't care about storage, it's not a bad option but I just feel like the fact I couldn't really get it inflated deserves 3 stars

I ordered 5 of these to take on a camping trip for my teenagers to sleep on. They were so easy to set up. Literally just open up the plug and it self inflates and then you shut the plug. Very comfortable. When done, just open up the plug and roll it up tightly and put it in the carry bag that comes with it. No need for an air pump!!! Definitely recommend!!! 10/10

UPDATED: we returned it and got a wonderful pad from LOSTHORIZON Airsoft 4.5” Thick Self Inflating Sleeping Pad. It inflates quickly and is comfy too.OLD Review:I have to say that , if you buy this you MUST set it out for 2 - 3 days to get it inflate the first time. The compression that was done really compacted the material down a LOT. Since I had to do that with my mattress that didn't surprise me.I was amazed at how HARD this is.. I had some expectation that it wouldn't be luxurious but I did expect a bit more buoyancy or comfort, compared to other self inflating mattresses I have, this is basically as hard as sleeping on the floor. Really all this is is some insulation from sleeping directly on the ground.This is NOT that comfortable. For Car Camping it fits the bill because it does roll up and can fit back into the bag.. but it is NOT comfortable what so ever, unless SUPER EXTRA FIRM is the thing you are seeking from an inflatable mattress.I am keeping it because if does fold up small enough to suit my needs.. so we are roughing it in the great outdoors.

Headline says it all. First inflat requires manual fill, then it only partially self inflates and you have to top it up manually. Also the package is supposed to come with a repair kit but it doesn't.

Used to supplement pop-up mattress and it worked great. Deflating allows to keep in place during fold up process.
