A good choice if you're off to Riga..! We love the City and having the book as a reference is worth the money.

I was put off by the look and lack of any colour photos. But pressed on to the transport section - it takes time to tell you how you’d access the city from other countries and even which plane types the airport accommodates, but omits to mention how anyone might travel from the airport to the city! The writer hadn’t considered what is useless information vs essential in terms of a practical guide book. There’s a chapter on The Top 5 restaurants. I don’t want a narrow range based on one person’s taste and opinion. I want to make my own choice. I won’t spend longer - you get the picture

It looks like - and reads like - an end of term project by a high school student who's rushed to start and finish an assignment 24 hours before it was due to be handed in.

The Ever Worst City Guide! Very low quality black and white photos, less information than a very simple wikipedia article. It is a shame to distribute such a book on Amazon. This book is not worth a single penny.For example, on the attached photo you can see the full "brief history" of Riga on two pages of the so called "city guide"

Better for historians than tourists
