This thing really is almost too pretty to keep in the garage... fortunately, its performance matches its good looks. I was debating between this one and the 104-pound steel Sunex 6602LP. Thought I'd want the 24-inch max height, but was wary about the weight (I don't have room to dedicate floor space to a jack). Glad I went with this one. It's plenty light enough to lift and carry, moves around well, operates smoothly, and lifts my SUVs completely off the ground (2 wheels at a time) without a problem. The only thing I wish it did was release a bit more slowly. You have to be careful twisting the handle if you want a slow release. I can live with that though... this is a great jack. I think it's been nine or ten years. Absolute, trustworthy tool.

this Jack is excellent. Very nicely made and easy to use. It's much lighter than a steel version and worth the extra cost. I would definitely recommend it.

Got it today and tried it out. Works very well, although as mentioned before you have to be careful on the drop. Not light by any measure, but the side handles make carrying it manageable for most home mechanics. I would recommend that you: - Grease the front wheels (they rotate on a cylinder that wraps the axle and sits inside the wheel well. - Grease the back wheels (cylinder inside wheel. does not come out easily but will shift enough to get grease in it. - Check securing hex bolts, A few were loose. - grease inside the handle sleeve, so it rotates more easily. - put some oil on the pressure control screw (as mentioned by others) It now rolls nice, operates smoothly.

This jack will lift my F150 or any vehicle in a smooth and controlled maner. Lowering the vehicle is anything but smooth and controlled. Turning the jack handle counter clockwise is extremely difficult. When the handle does turn the hydraulics are released all at once. Not safe. Do not buy this jack.
