Seems like it's a good knife hope it stays sharp. It is kind of hard to open but giving it time to wear in.

The media could not be loaded.  I really like the micro flashlight!This part is kind of weird... when I push on the flashlight while it's stored in the knife, the ferro rod jiggles out a little... and when I push the ferro rod all the way in then the flashlight jiggles out a little... maybe a 1/16 of an inch. Blade deployment is rough... and I dislike the bottle opener on the blade that reduces the blade strength.But it's a very low cost knife, looks good, suitable for everyday purposes.

If the manufacturer has a QA department, they need a refresher. The knife I received was not safe to use. The safety lock wouldn't engage at all, and the serrated portion of the blade wasn't completed. The few spots where the teeth had been cut, there were jagged bits of metal sticking out. I initiated a return only minutes after receiving the package.I ordered a second knife because I liked the look and hoped the first one was a fluke. This one came very quickly and was in better shape. It's very difficult to open, but I expect it'll get easier as I use it. The blade is very sharp.My remaining concern and the reason I didn't rate it higher is the safety lock. This one will engage, but only if I open the knife with force. Given that I read another review that had the same problem, I feel like this is something the manufacturer should really look into.

The media could not be loaded.  Currently on sale for about $12 with all the savings, this knife is simply a stellar deal. It is not a hundred dollar knife, so it's totally unfair to evaluated it as such. Nor, is it shabby because of the ultra low price. Mine came razor sharp. It can be opened by thumb with one hand, and even has spring assist, but it's not a flipper. I wish they would have made it a flipper, as those are easier to rapidly deploy with one hand. It closes fine with one hand even with the added strength needed to overcome the spring assist. Fit and finish are very good. The blade roots firmly to the handle and resists any side to side movement. The flashlight is not especially bright, as anyone would expect with such a small size. Those who claim it doesn't work probably failed to remove the insulation inside between the battery and spring. I love the flint rod, and that alone is worth the price. Be sure to read the instructions for using the flint, which can be found on the product page. You have to scrape the paint off of it, or it won't spark. There is paint on it to prevent oxidation. The bottle opener is essential gear for those who love their beer. A glass breaker can be a real lifesaver when seconds matter, such as with a burning or submerged car. The rope cutter will easily slice through a seat belt. The blade is said to be stainless steel, so it shouldn't rust, though I haven't put that to the test. There is a largish pocket clip, but it doesn't interfere with handling or the ergonomics. Carrying is easy with the canvas and Velcro case. The blade is long enough that you should consider the laws in you area for pubic carrying. I think it's a great survival knife to keep in the car or to gift to a responsible young person.

This is a nice knife. It isnt the most expensive nor is it the cheapest. It is a middle of the range knife that everyone should have. If you do not have a window cracker in your car you need one. If you do not have a seatbelt cutte rin your car you need one. If you dont have a bottle opener, here you go. You get a mini flashlight and a firestarter too. Everything included in this knife is functional and comes together nicely.The blade is sharp and well made. I have used it to cut through a variety of things and have had no issues. The blade has kept the edge and I am happy with the knife.The seatbelt cutter works pretty well. I used it to cut some rope and it worked fine. The window cracker is effective. I used it to crack a few old windows and there were no issues. It should work just as well on a car window. I havent use the firestarter yet but I will in the future. The flashlight works ok.If you are looking for a cheap, solid knife to put in your car for emergencies check this one out. It is well made, it will do what you want it to do and it will not break the bank.

I like burnt titanium color. That's all folks...Not really. Anyone in the market for a tactical/survival knife, this is it. It comes really sharp out of the box, so be careful. It has a serrated edge (like a saw) about 1-inch at the bottom of the blade and about 2.5" (I think) of straight edge blade. It's not a switch blade so you have to flip the blade open manually (and carefully). It has a seatbelt cutter and a glass window breaker. It also has a bottle opener, a magnesium fire starter, and a small LED flashlight. And it's got burnt titanium color!The handle feels nice, I could almost say it's ergonomic. It's got some weight on it and feels sturdy. It has a clip on the handle so you can secure this in your pocket. Or, put it in its canvas with velcro lock storage pack that has a belt loop and wear this on your belt. And it's got burnt titanium color!

Piece of junk. Barely opened/closed & finish was awful. You get what you pay for. The Albatross version of this costed me rough $5 USD more & it’s essentially a beautifully functioning version of this pocket knife!
