I used these, along with some other pieces, to create a one-of-a-kind art piece for my husband, who loves clocks & steampunk- style art. It turned out great! I used a hot glue gun to adhere the pieces to a wooden plank. Some pieces were a little difficult to stay adhered because of the smoothness of the metal, so I just sanded it a bit to make it rough enough to adhere & it turned out great!

Very nice gears. Heavy and good variety. I used them for my wood carvings. I recommend them.

I was genuinely surprised to receive these… These actually look and feel like brass. They are heavy like you would expect something made of brass to be. They do not look like cheap, thin metal that maybe has been painted or tinted. These are really nice! They legit look like something that you would have found in your grandfathers workshop.

I love these things! Lots (300) of textured metal wings & cogs & feathers which I will attach to French hooks & use as earrings... and one great big (5") curved metal feather, with loops @ both ends which I'll make the centerpiece of a necklace.I've looked up the best paints to use on metal & found several that I can work with when I get to painting the pieces. NOT all need to be painted. In their natural state they look like vintage, well used, textured metal...the texture (both physical & visual) gives the surface so much appealing interest.Actually, I love the natural bronze look but I may go back & try some of the other metals too... just to play.
