Had professionally fitted to my BMW M5 F11 (2011). After almost 2 weeks the first compressor became faulty. Retuned for refund and purchased second time. Second one also fitted professionally and after 5 weeks also became faulty. Both time compressor would try to inflate suspension bags but failed. Both times I was out of my home city. Unfortunately could not return after return period for second time expired.

Straight swap

I had this fitted to my car 2 months ago and it has now failed. This once again leaves me with no car and another garage bill. I’m going to just buy a genuine compressor from bmw it will be cheaper in the long run.

Item broke down after 2 days of free 30 day return warranty. Unable to contact seller directly.

found that my suspension had dropped completely on both sides suddenly so suspected that air compressor might by at fault (it was the pressure going to the air struts was far to low, hence why they would not inflate), after speaking with BMW and an independent the cost to fix was between £1200 and £4000 knowing this and to replace the compressor is relatively simple, I brought this Geluoxi compressor, so far all good, comes well packaged and is a direct full replacement for the BMW unit. Looking at this one compared to the old one its nearly identical (you will need to move 2 plastic clips that hold the large air hose from the old unit to the new one) and has all components and the cage etc. Fitting is reverse of removing the old unit and fits perfect and all pipes and connectors fit as they should snug and secure. Battery back on and the unit kicked into life and the suspension was back up and at its normal hight as before. So far and its only been 2 days - the unit is great, no issues, no warning lights, etc. Just works.... and much cheaper than BMW parts cost. if reading this in 6/12 months time feel free to ask how the unit is now.

The BMW F11 (2014 5 series touring model ) rear air suspension troubled me so much during the past 1.5 months. The car only sag when I was driving, especially after starting the car. I sent the car to 2 different workshops for the diagnosis, including one BMW official service, they didn't find anything wrong. I checked on the BMW forum on the internet, guessed maybe the compressor coursed the problem. Yes! it did! I compare the compressor from different brands which are from different price levels. I chose this one. It works perfectly! So far so good! Thanks, mate!
