Suitable for big sized children
My child (almost 7) is 37kg (about 90+pounds). We had a recaro for her which was supposed to last till she was 12yrs old but the weight limit for the Recaro was 36kg only. I'd spent hours reading reviews on car seats and almost bought a Britax until I realized that it would not be comfortable for the little one given her large size. This carseat came relatively quickly and had a manufacturing date of 2019. It was easy to assemble and felt very plush. The base of the car seat is rather wide. Her twin sister is 34kg so I will have to get another of this car seat pretty soon once she pushes the weight limit of her own recaro. I find that it is so easy to adjust the width of this car seat so if we ever to have 3 people sitting at the second row, I can just narrow the width of the wings to fit. Very pleased with this buy and would recommend this for those with large kids (99th percentile)

Highly recommended.
I got this car seat for my 5yr . His a big boy so getting a car seat that can fit his size and height for his age is hard so I went with this car seat and I liked how you can adjust the height and width on the seat. They also look very nice and well build and it was easy to install and uninstall.

Good seat for bigger kids with wider hips and shoulders!
I researchedand chose this booster seat because it is one of the widest ones out there. A lot of kids that are more on the "thicker" side have a hard time fitting between the armrests on regular booster seats before they get tall enough to not need a booster seat. I had my 11 year old who is 57 inches tall and 110 pounds sit in it, to make sure it would really last as long as I need it to for my 5 year old. He said it was comfortable and fit him well! I am 5'1" and I tried sitting in it, but the highest head position was too low for me, so I don't think it could really work as a high-back booster for children up to 63 inches, but you can also take the back off for taller kids. I had trouble installing it at first and had to adjust the seat recline and headrest a little on the actual car's seat to find the right position for the back of the booster to line up correctly with the back of the car's seat, but it wasn't too hard. Ones you get it right, hook the LATCH connectors and put a knee in the seat while pulling the straps on the front of the seat to tighten up the installation.I took off one star because when I opened the box, I couldn't figure out what the terrible smell was. It's kind of like old cheese and dog. I think the box must have been stored somewhere stinky next to something stinky. I don't think that all of them have that smell, because the display booster seat I saw in a store didn't smell bad. I'm giving it a few days to see if the smell disapates before deciding whether or not to return it.

Check fitment.
High ratings for safety and comfort. My kid loves it, so we kept it. Pain in the ass compared to the Evenflo seats we've used for about a decade. In my wife's 2019 X5, it fits pretty good, but you have to turn the latches sideways, force them into position, then rotate them up and pull back to get them to lock in. Probably different in different cars. In my 2016 5 series, it's a no go. Can't even get the latches positioned on the latch hooks without turning them upside (opposite of how they should go) down and twisting the seats latch straps, which is a no no. The 3 or 4 evenflo seats we've had in the past have never had that issue in these, or the 2 previous BMWs we've owned, and they're safe, though this seat does seem really sturdy and possibly safer with the metal frame. We were going to return this and get an Evenflo seat, but our kid loves it and it fits good in my wife's suv, which they're in almost all the time. Rarely do they ever use my car, where it doesn't fit good. If you have a BMW car (not an suv), you'll want to check the fitment.

Extremely firm, but does not require removing headrests
Its solid, nice looking. But its extremely firm, especially back. The back is like a board covered with only 1 layer of fabric. My daughter refused to seat on it even 10 min. I put some foam rubber between plastic back and the fabric to mitigate this. Probably different styles-colors differ in terms of comfort as i can not believe that Our chair can have 4.8 comfort score. Our color is red and without any extra foam rubber its too firm.I kept this chair as this is the only chair that does not require to remove headrests in the car to install it. Its a huge advantage for me. I can not remove headrests in my car therefore the options are limited. The chair is very big that is good. but in my car its hard to fasten a seatbelt as the chair hardly fits in the space. My child used to fasten the belt herself in previous chair but with this one its hardly impossible. Also we can not use a cup holder due to the same space limitation. But most probably its not relevant for bigger cars. And minor :)Summary:With the foam rubber addition it’s ok, and it looks great.
