Super Well Made and Comfortable
My husband had a pacemaker inserted and has to keep his arm mostly immobilized for 6 weeks. The sling the hospital gave him was terribly uncomfortable, and sharp velcro edges tore up his arm, and even scratched our great granddaughter. This sling is extremely comfortable for him, and the edge are very smooth, so no more problems with sore spots. He loves this product.

Just what the ER doctor help me find.
Husband fell and dislocated his shoulder. Wound up in the ER. He’s a big man, and the hospital sling did not fit properly. To stabilize his arm, this is what the hospital did not have. The ER doctor helped me find the exact sling on Amazon, and it works and fits perfectly.

It helped for my shoulder surgery!
I had shoulder surgery for a labral tear and bicep tenodesis. I had to pretty much be in a sling 24/7 for six weeks, so that means I had to sleep in a sling. With a normal sling, it’d put pressure on my shoulder that it’d cause pain and really uncomfortable to sleep in. This one made it easier to sleep and made sure my arm didn’t move around too much. I can workout in this plus having an additional shoulder immobilizer. As I slowly weaned off a sling, this one made it easier to do. The only downfall is the wrist size and placement. It still did the job but could be better if there was more support or maybe adjustable placement.

Shoulder immobilizer
I ordered the wrong size, returning this one. Ordered next size and it works perfectly. Judge help for my mom after her stroke to help her shoulder from dropping more, without putting added pressure on her neck.

Gross! Used item!
I ordered this shoulder sling expecting a brand-new product, but what I received was clearly used and disgusting. There were visible stains, lint, and even a weird smell—absolutely unacceptable for a medical item! This is supposed to provide support and comfort, not make me feel grossed out. I can’t believe they would send something in this condition. Either they don’t check returns or they deliberately resell used items. Either way, I wouldn’t trust this seller again. Returning it immediately!

Great for the arm of a stroke victim.
My husband had a stroke 3 years ago this May. He was able to come back from his paralyzed left side, except for his arm. He had tried all the silly slings and Gaither arm support that the doctors suggested, but they all put the pain on his shoulder. The moment he put this on it took the hanging weight off his left shoulder. He loves it, can even sleep in it. So, for anyone looking for a stroke victim with a paralyzed arm support this is it. I was seriously thinking of making one just like this. Thank you, Thank you!!!!

It works.
I dislocated my shoulder. 10 days later, while wearing a "regular" sling, I tripped over the dog and dislocated the same shoulder. I discovered this sling/immobilizer and thought "hmmm, that should keep everything in place." And it does. I liked that it kept my shoulder from moving, far better than the regular sling. I liked that I could unhook my lower arm and type or write. I liked that it didn't pull on my other shoulder. What I really didn't like, though, was the way the chest strap rolled. I am not built like the model... I have a few more "hills and valleys" on my body, so the chest strap wasn't going to lay flat across my ribs. No matter. Even though it promptly rolled into a snake around my body, I was willing and able to look past that for the other benefits. It's been hanging on a hook now for about 2 weeks since I've been released from the sling, and that chest strap has remained rolled. While it looked weird, and concentrated the strap to a smaller area, it still wasn't bad enough to cancel the bits I liked.

I got this for my mom's broken shoulder, and it worked great!
My mom broke her shoulder and was so uncomfortable wearing a sling. Plus, she has a shunt in the back of her neck, and the sling was pressing on it and making her confused, because the shunt couldn't drain the fluid from her brain. Plus, the sling was very, very, VERY uncomfortable. This thing worked so much better! She used it under her clothes for a while, but over a tank top. Then she eventually moved it to over her clothes once she was allowed to lift her shoulder the last 2 weeks. The only problem she had was itching, but we sprayed some anti-fungal and used corn starch and that helped. But she said it was so much better than the sling.
