Fantastic Beginner Piano Book Recommended by My Teacher
My piano teacher recommended Adult Piano Adventures: All in One Course - Book 1 for my lessons, and it’s been a great fit for me as a beginner. The book combines music notation, chords, and theory in a way that feels very approachable and clear. I love that it’s designed specifically for adults learning piano, so the pace and explanations feel tailored, not too childish or overwhelming. The included digital audio is a huge help for practicing at home, giving me a clear idea of how the pieces should sound. The lessons build gradually, which keeps me motivated without feeling frustrated. If you’re teaching yourself or taking lessons, this book is a solid choice to build a strong foundation in both playing and understanding music. Highly recommend!

Fantastic book for adult learners!
I've purchased a stack of piano method books and this one is the best! It has SO MUCH to offer. It's very easy to understand and the step-by-step teaching method is great. The lessons move at a reasonable pace and I supplement it with a series on YouTube - Lets Play Piano Methods - where an extremely good music teacher guides you through the book page-by-page and plays each lesson and duets with the learner. In addition, the book includes QR codes so you can hear how each lesson should sound and you can watch one of the authors demonstrate technique. The authors have put considerable effort into creating this supplemental material. I chose the spiral binding as it lays flat against the piano music stand.

Great for self learners
Self learner here and the book does an excellent job (so far, I'm around page 45) at teaching the fundamentals in an easy way to understand. It's also very nice that they have videos that you see from scanning QR codes on the page.If your hesitating or unsure for self learning from this book with maybe Alfred's, I can confidently say that I have no issues and am enjoying this book so far. Maybe Alfred could be better for you but I heard it is more faster paced/stressful and "chord" heavy.

Great content, but missing pages in my copy
This book itself is fantastic. I'm an adult beginner teaching myself and it has been an incredible resource. I don't think I would have learned anything at all without it. The lessons are clearly written, logical, and build on each other for a well rounded foundation in reading music and playing skillfully. I will soon be leveling up to the next book, and have worked at this one for several months. It makes me excited to play piano. That being said, I just discovered that the copy I received is missing pages 151-168. In their place are duplicate pages of 121-136. I'm pretty disappointed because it's now past the return window. I'm missing part of unit 14, all of unit 15, and part of unit 16. Ill have to try and find these lessons elsewhere so I don’t miss important theory. Other than that, I do recommend this book for learning piano. There have only been a couple of short exercises that are specifically meant for a teacher or friend to help with, so the majority is great for someone self-teaching, especially with the bonus online content.

Begin. The patience and practice is worth it.
This course has been great. I've learned a lot since starting it and have enjoyed the supplemental videos throughout. It looks like Book 2 offers the playback videos but they don't look to be as interactive as with this first book. I've started book 2, but recently found myself referring back to this one as my skills have improved and things are clicking a bit more. The pieces have been more enjoyable to play because of that. I recommend this book and also wanted to encourage anyone interested in learning to play the piano, in this case likely as an adult, you got this! Enjoy :)

Great for beginners
Clear and concise instructions, great for a from-scratch beginning learner. The included QR codes for video lessons are a welcome bonus if you're more of a visual learner or if you're struggling to grasp the lesson on paper.

Piano Journey
Book was great when paired with @letsplaypianomethods however, my book is missing pages 153 through 168 and repeats pages 121 through 136, obviously a publisher error. Overall, I like this book. *update. I emailed the publisher and they sent the missing pages!! So responsive. Thank you.
