Flatirons Disc Adhesive Plate Hangers, 2 Inch, 8 Pack

I have bought these in the past for other plates and was very happy so decided to try for a heavier plate and i am happy with it also. These are special plates of memories and wanted something that would hold them well and protect them. In the past I have used the wire plate hangers which are good but I like these better because you dont see all the wires so switched all my plates to these.

I got these to hang some decorative tiles on my wall. They adhered well to the back of the tiles after wetting them and letting them dry. I wish I could say something exciting about them, but they worked well and met my expectations. Recommended.

True to its description!

Very sturdy, easy to adhere to the plates I'm hanging on my wall. All I had to do was wet the back enough to make a little paste, let it set to become sticky for 3-7 minutes (depending upon how much water you applied to it) and once sticky... I stuck it to the back of the plate. I pressed it on firmly to make sure it adhered well. I let it dry overnight. In the morning, I tried to pull up on the hook part (enough to see if my plate would be ok to hang) and it didn't budge. Very pleased!

I have hung dozens of plates with these over the years (literally dozens—I collect plates and have them hanging all over my house) and I haven’t had one fail yet—and this includes a stone (yes, stone!) plate, a huge heavy ceramic bowl, and a large heavy platter, all of which I have hanging from the large 5.5 inch ones. I apply them by putting a bit of water on my fingertips, mixing it into the glue so the whole back of the disc is wet, and then letting it set up and get tacky for about 5-7 minutes before applying to the plate. Works like a charm and a fantastic product. The glue is like concrete but it does come off with some soaking, although I’ve only needed to remove these a few times.

These work wonderfully to hang my vintage handheld mirrors. My only issue is I have ordered this twice and there are only 6 in the package not 8.
