This product is perfect for my beard. I use it in conjunction with their beard oil. It leaves my beard soft and manageable

Works great on short and medium length hair. Provides good hold and control, especially when applied into damp hair and blow dried.The best part is that unlike other products with similar hold, it goes in very easy and it doesn’t tug or pull hairs.

My first time purchasing this. I usually use Malin and Goetz styling paste. This one’s a bit sticky on my hands after applying to my clients. It’s the only thing I’m not a fan of

Love the way it smells and with a blow dryer, you can make the hold look matte, but if you apply to damp hair it ends up making my hair looks crunchy/greasy. A few passes of my hands through once it's dry and it evens out, but still prefer the old cream pomade.

You kind of want some give even with a gel. I keep trying to use less and less but I can’t get enough hold without it becoming really sticky and hard.

The key to Baxter Styling Paste is that you must use it sparingly. If you use too much, the scent can be over-powering as some of the other reviews mentioned. If you're someone who like to really weight down your hair or need a lot of hold, this will not work well as it has a medium to soft hold. I like the look once the paste dries--it's more a matte, natural look versus a super shiny or slick look. I've had to make adjustments to the quantity I use due to the smell, but once I found the right amount, it was not bad. As a side note, I've used other Baxter hair products and they tend to be fragrance-forward in general.

The product has a very intense scent that I just cannot handle. Some people may like to have a very strong perfume scent in their hair, but I do not. It’s strong enough that people have commented on the scent, that’s a no go for me - will be returning.
