HAVE PATIENCE
The reviews were mixed but I decided I had nothing to lose except the pain in my foot. I went to the orthopedic who confirmed no broken bones first. The doctor gave me exercises to do, strong muscle relaxer/pain med, told me roll an ice bottle under my arch, and recommended arch supports for my shoes. Let's be real the foot exercises only do so much and I didn't follow perfectly. I hate unecessary meds. Oh icing, you know rolling that frozen bottle of water, it proved fruitless. The inserts are helping but didn't release the tendon which the doctor said I had plantar fasciitis that caused me to have severe charley horse/cramps in my left leg. This sleeve, which is snug not tight, at first caused cramping and mild pain, I stuck with it and it does work. I wear only on my problem foot for a couple of hours with my feet up at night or in the morning. Yes, there's a strong menthol smell which feels good on my foot. I flex my foot to stretch my arch and rotate in a circular motion while wearing, that causes some cracking that feels good. I no longer feel the tight tendon under my arch and the cramps in my calf seem to be gone. The doctor did say stretching the ligaments would help just his way alone didn't work but this sleeve seems to be doing the trick.

Copper Fit Ice Plantar Fasciitis Compression Sleeve
These compression sleeves are well made and probably work fine for plantar fasciitis. My son told me they would be great for the Achilles tendon problems I am having, so I bought these sleeves. The sleeves are definitely not for tendon problems. My shoe size is a men's 10.5. I bought the L'XL size sleeve and they are way to tight. With or without shoes the sleeves caused me more pain than using nothing.

Great compression sleeve but no icy feeling EVER
It compresses great but there is no menthol/icy feeling ever- not since day one.. NOt worth the extra money spent for ICY...
