Works great for before and after school duties. It is loud enough for everyone to hear you, but doesn't have that squeal and high pitched volume that makes people cringe. Lightweight, durable, and effective. Good megaphone for a good price.

I wasn't expecting much with a $12 price tag, but it seems to be adequate for my intended use. I didn't think about the batteries, but that's one of my only complaints. I'm used to getting rechargeable devices, but this requires 4 C batteries. I paid around $15 for some rechargeable C batteries and that makes it really worth it. It could be louder for my taste, but I just wanted it to annoy my loud neighbors. It works! I'm not sure how durable it is but I've been playing with it for a few days and it seems to hold up. The package came totally beat to hell, but it doesn't seem like the megaphone is damaged. PLEASE test your product before reviewing! Amazon has a reputation for sending delicate items in a plastic sack... Amazon shipping quality sucks so badly these days... I've received so many smashed products they've had to refund, I don't know why they don't package them better... Another vig complaint is the sliding switch to control the voice/siren usage. You just turn it on and it does it's thing. Having a button to trigger it would be great, but if you're paying $12 for it, I guess it's worth it. Don't pay more for it! They'll jack up the price eventually, but I would NOT pay any more than $12 or 15 for it.

Bought for my son to take ice fishing. I must admit, it was nicer then I thought it was going to be. It works very well. I recommend this for no matter what you will use it for!

It was a gift for a friend who lives in a large villa, and keeps shouting to call his children to come to lunch... they seem to enjoy it. Material is good and the sound seems okay.
